American Idol fans rejoice, for tonight comes forth another season of the ubiquitous singing competition.

Blake Lewis is and always will be one of my favorite singers on American Idol, and I'm pleased to announce that BuddyTV is giving away one copy of his album Audio Day Dream as well as a poster autographed by the beatboxing sensation himself.

To enter the contest, reply to this thread with your answer to the question "Which song do you most want to hear Blake Lewis perform and why?" You have until January 22 at 11:59am ET to enter. At that time, the thread will be closed and two winners will be selected randomly.

Any Justin Timberlake song.Everytime i hear Justin Timberlake sing it reminds me of Blake and vice versa.So i wouldn't mind him singing one of his songs,and put a little beat boxing into it.

I would love for Blake to perform one of the songs off of his new album. "Break Anotha" would be acceptable, but seeing as how I've heard him perform that one on a few other shows already... I'd really love him to perform "Know My Name," which I think I like even more!

There are many songs that I would absolutely love to hear Blake sing. I can`t even pick one!! So, I`ll name some from A.D.D. and other ones..

One of the songs is Break Anotha, because I`ve seen him perform it so many times on television and it just gets better and better. I would really enjoy seeing it live. I love how Blake has so much energy and how he brings so much passion into the song when he`s singing it.

Another amazing song is How Many Words, which I am hoping will be his second single. You can really understand the meaning of the song when you hear it. It`s just so beautiful and the first time I heard it, I cried. The sort of beatboxing that Blake does in it fits perfectly into the song and makes it even more beautiful.

I`d also like to hear him sing Sunday Morning, by Maroon 5. Because it`s one of my favorite songs and Maroon 5 is one of my favorite singers. Hearing my favorite artist singing one of my favorite songs would be great. And, I think that Blake kind of sounds like Adam Levine and that Maroon 5 songs are perfect for him. There`s even a song on Audio Day Dream that reminds me a lot of a Maroon 5 song. It`s called Hate 2 Love Her and will probably be a huge hit if ite ver gets on the radio.

The final song, and one of the most important ones, is Four Letter Word. It`s one of Blake`s pre-idol songs that nobody has ever heard before. Nobody knows where to find it and we don`t have the lyrics to it either. I really hope that Blake sings it one day because it`s been bugging me for a while. All of Blake`s pre-idol stuff is great and I`m sure Four Letter Word is too.


Well that`s all. Those are just a few of the songs I`d love to hear Blake sing. Hopefully he`ll go on tour soon so I can see him live.

I'd love to see Blake sing Maroon 5's 'Wake Up Call' I think he could do a great job with that song, because his style is very similar to theirs, but I think that he could definately put his own spin on it & keep his performance Blake & not Maroon 5.

I sadly can't have the chance to see American Idol in TV but I can say that I haven't missed any of the performances of the absolutely amazing Blake! He’s got *that* voice, the one so special and so impossible to miss... I completely agree with you Debbie for what you said and for me he’s just the best of all the candidates around the seasons!

So, about the song I most want to hear him perform, I can’t decide between two different kinds of song but I’m sure he could sing it well; the music runs into his veins, it’s obvious! And I just can’t wait to hear his work on his album...

You’ll maybe think I’m joking but the first song I’d glad to hear him sing is ‘Everytime’, Britney’s song. Why? Because this is not especially his style, I know, but Blake has got that sensibility to sing this song which is, without taking Britney’s life into account, pretty well made and terribly moving! Plus, Blake with his fabulous beatbox card could give more texture at the song the appropriation could be very exciting!

However, the second first song I most want him to hear sing is ‘What Goes Around... / ...Comes Around’ from Justin Timberlake (alike T-Bag’sGurl), it’s a bit long so that means a longer pleasure and time of listening! And this song is great, it obsessed me when it was on the radio but if Blake will sing this, I could easily imagine that’ll be really more haunting! His voice mixed with the lyrics will lead to an unexpected result, maybe something he hasn’t sung to us! I don’t know why but I like the fact that it’s a melancholic sight over a relationship... and I’m sure I could have been composed to Blake too! I'm sure he can perform this song by his own way and get it a bit more better!

I watched last year`s American Idol mostly for Blake and one of the songs I`d just love to hear him sing is Exreme`s "More Than Words" but in his own personal style. I just loved how he made any songs his on the show.

I want to hear Blake perform "Gots To Get Her" because I love how it reminds me of "Puttin On The Ritz" and all the instruments in the background sound so good with Blake's voice!
