| We're squeezing this contest in right before Christmas. NBC has provided us with a whole bunch of goodies from their store to share with the BuddyTV community:
All you have to do to enter is reply to this thread with your answer to the question "What is your favorite NBC show, past or present, and why is it your favorite?" You have until Wednesday, December 26 at 11:59am ET/8:59am PT to respond. Five winners will be randomly selected at that time, and they will get to choose which prize they want to receive. Here are some pictures of the prizes: ![]() There is a picture of the cast on the other side of the ball. ![]() ![]() Good luck to all! |

| I have to say the glory days of Hill Street Blues and Chicago Hope, Even the first couple of seasons of ER have still not been beaten. yes, but for now, I have to say Journeyman.. yes I know you have not renewed it for a whole season but it has been really good and interesting, while My old stand bye HEROS has gone down hill. So as of right now this year...... Journeyman.. Too bad people have not found this show...... |

| Senior Member ![]() | I don't want this is I win it (cause everyone will pick on me!), but I wanted to answer. I'm going to have to go with Heroes. It's only been recently in my life that I've gotten into television with such passion and Heroes is probably the NBC show that I've fallen most in love with. I've always been a comic book keep, grew up reading X-men and when me and my boyfriend met, we really got into it together. Seeing a show come out about something I have loved for a long time was awesome. Seeing it being taken from a realistic view was even more awesome. Heroes changed the face of Superheroes. They don't wear tights and they aren't completely altruistic to a fault. They are people and I think that is the most intriguing thing of all. The live in shades of grey and thats why I like this show so much. Yatta!

| I think my favorite NBC show from past or present would be Chuck. I'm not much of a tv comedy fan, and Chuck has pulled me in quickly without a second glance back. I've seen all of the episodes multiple times, can quote them, and have shared them with all of my friends. It's my favorite new show this season, and I hope it's here to stay! |

| Baywatch! Haha! no. Umm...I'd have to go for Star Trek (original series), SNL or Seinfeld (woah! all start with "S"). I really hope I don't HAVE to explain why. I mean, isn't it obvious? Well, since it's part of the rules, Star Trek because it's classic sci-fi, SNL because their skits are hilarious (I loved Celebrity Jeopardy) and Seinfeld because it's THE sitcom. |

| Hands down my favorite NBC broadcast show would be Heroes because it had be hooked from the first episode. It is a never ending rollercoaster... However, my absolute FAVORITE show would be House, which I believe is owned my NBC Universal...and that would be because of Hugh Laurie...kind of the best of both worlds! |

| My favorite NBC show is Friday Night Lights. I love the relationship between Coach and Tami. I love how coach teaches those kids on and off the field. He really cares about them. Tami is the sort of guidance counselor that I wish my kids had when they were in high school. I live in a town similar to Dillon and it reminds me of the relationship between the town and the football team. Our kids just went to the state championship game, unfortunately they lost, but the town turned out for them similar to how Dillon supported the Panthers. I love the characters. It's hard to dislike any of them because they are so multi-dimensional. None of them are perfect and none of them are portrayed as all good or all bad. Yeah, I like Friday Night Lights. |

| My favorite NBC show ever would have to be The Pretender. I loved the characters, especially the interaction between Miss Parker and Jarod. Currently, my favorite NBC show is Chuck, again because of the characters and their interaction. (I'm nothing if not predictable!) |
