What is your favorite NBC show, past or present, and why is it your favorite? Journeyman! I've been watching some of the episodes over again, and it really makes me realize just how much they can put into one episode. It's been a saving grace this year, in the light of a mediocre season of Heroes. It's unique because even though it focuses on the lives of a few main characters, the real focus turns into the minor characters- the people that Dan follows and helps in the past. It's hard to say that about any other show.

| Heroes. Definitely and assuredly Heroes. Actually it's the only show on NBC I watch. Years of roleplaying experiece (neopets and others) show a pattern in what I like, "gifted" roleplays. I just love the idea of super powers, there's no two ways about it! I remember writing a stories so similar to Heroes back in the days before it was created. I'd watch all the superhero movies, thinking and wondering what I could write that hasn't already been thought up by the creative minds of comic writers past... I never could get them to be completely original... then Heroes beat me and figured out the way to do it, they write exactly what I wanted to write and have written, and that makes it so enjoyable to me.

I think it would have to be ER...overall the show has had a great run and (yes, there's some stinkers) they pick good actors and plotlines!

My favorite - Law and Order for its longevity, its great stories, and its ability to make you think about the topic they've presented in a way you might not have otherwise.

Hands down this year's favorite NBC show for me is Heroes. NBC has always had really great lineups going back to 'must see thursdays' with recent shows like 30 Rock, Scrubs and My Name is Earl, but I must say that Heroes is the only show on tv today that I absolutely cannot miss. I've stayed up late to watch it on the timeshift channel just so I make sure I haven't missed anything the first time. I am a huge comic book/superheroes fan and this show really brings it all together with great characters, a fantastic story and amazing effects. I am in some serious withdrawal right now waiting for the next chapter to start.
