| Ok here it goes (and since a lot of you mentioned missing part of season 3, there's a decent sized spoiler in this that you may want to avoid if you haven't seen the last 7 episodes or so). After a quick election Keith finally returns to his job as Sheriff permanently (would someone really vote for Vinnie Van Lowe over Papa Mars? Seriously?) leaving Veronica to manage "Mars Investigations" for a few months before taking her FBI internship. Mac’s good-looking cousin Nate transfers to Hearst and catches Veronica’s eye, much to the charge-in of Piz, who is already worried about their spending the summer apart at their separate internships. Nate is a journalist and after his article on steroid use among college athletes gets several stars kicked off their teams, he becomes a target of their revenge. Richard Collins, one of the top pitching prospects in the country, accuses Nate of planting the HGH so that he could get his story; circumstance seems to support Ricky, as Nate was caught on an ATM camera meeting with a known-dealer. The new Dean calls in Keith immediately, trying to save the school from more negative publicity, but Nate maintains his innocence and Veronica supports him. Father and daughter are forced to work against one another as more evidence surfaces that damages Nate’s case: he once had a baseball scholarship and shot at the majors, until an elbow injury ended his career.ffice Is Nate really innocent? Will Veronica be able to save her friend? What will become of her and Piz as their time together nears an end and she spends more and more of it trying to solve the case? Will gumbo night at the Mars house become a silent affair? To quote the awesome Ms. Bell’s new persona: That's one secret I'll never tell… Wow, I wish I could get that into writing my History essay haha |

| LOL, I never watched Veronica Mars, but I can't pass up the chance to be a smart alec. Here goes: For a final 5-episode story arc, how about Veronica and her crew discover that they only exist as characters on a moderately successful TV show on a 3rd rate network. Upon discovering this, they work their butts off to uncover a mystery compelling enough to act as a mind-blowing season-ending cliffhanger, thereby guaranteeing a fourth season. In the end though, they are unsuccessful and the last shot of the series is of the lovely Miss Mars giving a pouty whimper to the camera as the screen cuts to black. Forever.
