My favorite American Idol winner is Kelly Clarkson! She has the best personality of all thw winners and the most versatility.

My favorite runner up is Bo Bice! I just love his new album called SEE THE LIGH, which is being sold as a Wal Mart exclusive ( just like The Eagles did) and his video for the song WITNESS from that album that is playing on VH1... it made # 1 this week! Bo left RCA to be able to sing his own songs and they are pure southern rock!

I hope I win his autographed CD!!

Smile My favorite American Idol winner! (Bo Bice autographed CD contest)

First, let me start by saying that I am a huge Bo Bice fan and I have followed his career since I first saw him on American Idol. He is full of talent and charisma and I absolutely love his new album "See the Light"!

But, my favorite American Idol winner is Fantasia Barrino and for many reasons. I didn't watch AI much until the year she was on. I had heard about her because she was from High Point, NC, which is very close to where I live. When I first saw her on the show I knew almost immediately why she was so popular. Fantasia has an amazing voice and she sings with so much heart & soul! I loved all of her performances because you could always tell that she put everything she had into them. And she never failed to take what songs she was given to do and do an amazing job with each one. As I learned more about Fantasia, I discovered that she is a beautiful person, both inside & out. Fantasia had many struggles thoughout her life. She didn't have it easy before AI, and that's to say the least. But she stayed strong & she never gave up on her dreams. I am so glad that she made it onto the show and that she was able to show the world all the talent that she has. The night that she won the American Idol crown, I cried tears of joy with her. Since American Idol, Fantasia has released 2 albums & she has also received many awards, including several grammy's and NAACP awards. She is now starring in the broadway musical "The Color Purple" as "Celie" and has received rave reviews for her performances. I am so proud of her and wish her much continued success with her career. She is truly an inspiration to me!
