I would be the secret agent.

You have to figure that, with all your agents knowledge of classified information, you could always find out how to make a clone of yourself later!

Besides, I have enough trouble dealing with my own stupidity as it is. It would be impossible if there were two of me

(I heart MST3K sooooo muuuuuuuch)

Keeping up with the Jones'? How about... keeping up with my twin.

Have you known someone in your life that just seems to be better than you at every task no matter how large or small? For me, I am quite intimate with this feeling because I have stood in this person's shadow all my life. Meet perfect Paula. She's a little bit taller, a little bit smarter, and a little bit more athletic (ok maybe a lot more). As a young adult, I am so very tired of this familiar feeling of trying to out perform my twin sister. With a clone of myself, I would be able to outdo, outsmart, and outperform my twin (The Prestige style). I think Crow would appreciate my sly efforts to keep my clone a secret while I began to become 'the better' twin. With a clone, I could finally lose the nickname 'other twin' (ok maybe I am being extreme) and change the phrase to 'Keeping up with Margie.'

Default Spy or Clone

While having a clone would be cool and all (I mean c'mon, I'd be my own Boba Fett!), I think being a spy would be much cooler, and probably a little less creepy in the long run.

Of course, you've got all the spy gadgets, always get the girl, you get to drink on the job and have full access to the agency's "judo range"...but you'd get away with doing pretty much anything legally. Plus that license to kill thing would be really handy every once in a while. Not to mention that you get to have a cool name like James Bond, Adam Chance, or dare I say...Rex Dart, Eskimo Spy!

And finally, if I were a spy, I'd have more excuses to blurt out "da dah da dahhhhh" besides when I try to balance my check book.

A clone would be wonderful! I've always wanted someone around who looks enough like me to dress up as Superman—you know, like a Superman who just got out on bond after getting screwed over by Richard Pryor—and fight on a construction site. I'd have to work on the whole pile-driving into the earth thing, but it'd be sure to draw a crowd. They might offer me a job too! That'd be a real hoot!

Being a secret agent wouldn't go over too well. I couldn't keep a secret if my life depended on it. Plus, who would we spy on nowadays? Belgium? Love to, but my Belch is attrocious! Hey-o! Every one a dinger!

Default Clone me!

I would definitely rather have a clone that be a spy. It would be incredible to have someone to deal with all the drudgery of life--such as work, cleaning the house, putting gas in the car, grocery shopping, etc.--so that I could be free to travel and spend more time with my family.

Being a spy would be too much work! And all the lying that's involved...not to mention the whole getting killed possibility.

Clones seem nice to have. You could make them do your job... You could make them do your homework... You could make them do the chores... You could make them rob a bank... etc. That's what everybody says they'd make their clones do. But, if you think about it a little more, it isn't really a great idea after all, because sooner or later, they will only bring you trouble. Lots of trouble. Sure, you could sit and relax while they carry out what you commanded them to do. But, all of the fun is only temporary. If they mess up or get caught, who else is there to blame? It's you. Bottom line is that having clones of yourself is a huge, huge risk. And I wouldn't want to risk everything I've worked hard for, only to have a short-lived relaxation. I wouldn't want to slack off and leave it all to the brainless clones at the start, only to find myself in some deep sh*t later on. I would rather do everything like a normal person would. It's better that way.

So, I would rather be a badass secret agent instead. Why? Well, it's easy. I would have all the latest gadgets, go around the world on different adventures, drive my very own Aston Martin DB5, get paid big, and get all the hottest chicks in the planet (and having babes alone is way better than having clones of myself. What the hell would I do with clones?? I wanna do chicks, not me! ), all while firing guns and saving the world from evil criminals . And since I'm a secret agent, danger could be lurking at all times. But, that's no problem at all. My life may be in peril, but I've been trained to defend myself by the best and avoid getting killed by these crazy mf's. My job may be dangerous, but clones can't even do that! Clones can't give me all of that! The only things clones would bring me are lots of gray hair and wrinkles! See, being a secret agent is a lot better than having clones.

If I could be a secret agent, I will do my job efficiently and effectively. I will save the world. I will eliminate all evil. I will restore world peace. (Insert other cliches here.) I will post pictures of me in my Aston Martin in the forums everyday and rub it in your faces. I will do every hot chick in the world. And maybe, just maybe, I will put an end to the damn writers' strike so we could all be happy and watch our favorite shows on TV.

I'll take the clone, and let him be a secret agent. I'd rather be a private detective!

Introduction:
While everyone is entitled to their own opinion on things, I am here to tell you mine. I truly believe that it would be better to have your own clone than to be a secret agent. Now to set things straight I mean a clone of myself not anyone else otherwise they wouldn’t be as controllable. I know how my own mind works and could control it a lot easier than one that isn’t mine. I wouldn’t want it modified since most people would prefer a modified clone over being a secret agent. Instead I will tell you how an unmodified clone could be just as if not even more useful.

How To Do It Right:
First you need a plan; I would suggest finding the clone a job. For best results get something high paying with lots of fast cars and easy women. You can both share the spoils. That stuff is pretty much all you’ll ever need. You’ll also have to avoid angering the clone. This will involve doing things most people would have their clone do. That is stuff like cleaning, shopping, and cooking. Now this may seem like a boring thing to do but your clone will be glad to have the help and when you’re not working you can lounge around the house and take part in the fast cars and easy women. This beats having your arms blown off as a secret agent doesn’t it? Plus when the assassins come around, your clone takes the bullet. Any risks of being mistaken for the clone and killed can be forgotten. If you were a secret agent and there was one of you the chances would be worse.

Flaws in Secret Agentude (If that is a word.):
Now it may seem to be cool to be a secret agent and get lots of large guns, women, and cars, but all of that can be yours if your clone is a secret agent like I said before. There are numerous problems with being a secret agent. Imagine you’re out having a few drinks with some friends and next thing you know you’ve had too many and you’re standing on the bar blabbing about your last mission. Then the bartender whispers into his collar and large men enter to take you off to a secret government island prison. That’s not very pleasant. Then there’s also the paperwork, and having to constantly come up with fake names. Using your real name during an assignment can be the worst thing you can do. It’s very dangerous. I’m looking at you James Bond. Plus there are the gadgets and passports and papers you have to carry around. You’d end up like my buddy who accidentally pulled his license to kill instead of his driver’s license when pulled over by a cop. The cop had to write it down as a threat and there was a huge mess, the whole precinct had to have their minds wiped, it wasn’t good at all. See other than being shot or dying of sexual exhaustion there are problems secret agents have to deal with. Plus if you’re forgetful, then there could be serious trouble. Like when you finish a job and you’re sailing out into the sunset and the bad guy’s midget assassin is still around. Then you have a problem on your hands. If you weren’t a secret agent, midget assassins wouldn’t be as much of a problem and your clone can always take care of it.

Conclusion:
See what I mean? Being a secret agent is trouble, and has serious problems with it. If you had your own clone and a happy one at that it would be a much better situation. Now you know the truth. Clones are good.
