I think that this question is pretty simple to answer but the reasons may be complex. I believe that killing a vampire would be the easiest solution and here is why. Aliens are just what the word means they are foreign to us. We don't even know what kind of alien we would be fighting. For example in the X-files there were the aliens that were shape-shifters that could only be killed by putting a long metal blade in the back of their neck. Then there were the aliens that spewed fire or the aliens that spewed the "black oil". That is just in the X-files, if we enter the Star Trek realm, there are creatures that are impervious to most human ways of destroying them. So in my belief there are too many different aliens to know what you are fighting and how to destroy them. As for zombies, yes they are the undead but most of the time you have to sever a head to kill them but even that may not kill them you may have to put a bullet in it. They may be fast they may be slow, do they only come out at night? Do they evolve like the Zombies in Stephen King's book Cell? Once again too many unkowns and no exact rules to live by. Vampires are cut and dry. Yes they are powerful BUt we know they have to avoid sunlight, you kill them by staking their heart, they dont cast a reflection in a mirror, they avoid garlic and holy water and are afraid of the cross. Sever their head and stake them and they are gone. Therefore Vampires are my choice.

The article is mad confusing but I think this is the question I am supposed to answer. "Would you rather fight a hostile alien race, a zombie, or a vampire? Why?" Easy answer a zombie. Have you ever fought a zombie before? It's so easy; unless you are turned off by the dismemberment of said zombie, then it could be a little nasty. Otherwise, it's a no-BRAIN(S)er, they can't drive, can't really run, can't do anything but stumble around and groan. Aliens already have fast transportation and (probably) frickin lasers. Vampires are all mesmerizing and suave. I'm a born zombie fighter.

wow! this is a really awesome prize. After reading a couple awesome responses, I doubt I'll win, but I'll try anyway! I'd rather fight a Vampire. If I lose, I'll become a vampire and I can live forever and suck blood for the rest of my life. If I lose to a zombie, I'd become a zombie and stumble everywhere for the rest of my existence, living a horrible, emotionless and slow life groaning here and there. At least with a vampire I'd get to wear a fancy cloak and have cool teeth. With Aliens, you really don't know what your fate would be, so I'd be a little terrified to lose to them. I dont really like the idea of being abducted and having weird alien experiments conducted on me. Plus, if I got crazy transformer-type Aliens, there's no way that I could win. Even if I had a chance at winning this fight, I'd still choose vampires, just because they're awesome (just not ones on CBS's Moonlight).

I'd fight zombies, because, yes, they're slow and clumsy and I'd be able to just run away. The only thing I woudl;n't like about them is they're not killable. gah! i'm ranked at #1,770 on the quiz!

I would rather fight a hostile alien race. Vampires and zombies are too run of the mill and you can learn nothing from fighting them. Fighting an alien race, however, has the potential to learn of new technologies, new methods of defense and new ways of thought (assuming you prevail). You can discover things you had never even imagined before. Everyone knows the general way to kill vampires and zombies, but ridding the world of a hostile alien race would be a true challenge. Plus there's always a chance of meeting a hot G-man to help me!

| Senior Member | I would rather fight the Vampire, For the reason that the Zombie would slowly chase you everywhere and never stop. And that the Aliens are a whole race and would be terribly difficult to conquer, with all their technology (or even lack of). A Vampire however, if you lost would kill you or just make you into another Vampire = COOL! If i won this it'd SO get me out of mum's christmas present buying hahaha, she loves X-files.
