Joss Whedon is one of those rare geniuses who, in my opinion, never fails to deliver. He created Angel, a spin-off to the international cult hit Buffy the Vampire Slayer, that centered around our favorite vampire with a soul. Do y'all remember the episode when Angel was turned into a muppet? That was one of the best episodes ever! I kind of wish I had my own Angel muppet.

Anyway, for the first time ever, all five seasons of the hit supernatural drama will be packaged together in a 30-disc special collector’s box uniquely designed for the ultimate fan. It hit the streets today, and retails for $139.98, but one lucky fan can get his/her very own right here courtesy of BuddyTV.

The complete series features all 110 episodes on 30 discs, a signed letter to fans from creator Joss Whedon and a collectible companion booklet.

So, the very last episode ended with apocalyptic panache, with Angel and the gang about to face off against the forces of darkness. Joss Whedon and his team of geniuses are unveiling a comic book called Angel: After the Fall, which will continue the story. The comic book will be published by IDW Publishing, and will be available this November. So, the question that you have to answer to enter this contest is: write your own fanfic about what happens after the end of the last episode. Who survives? Who dies? Who does Angel fight? What kind of quips does he make while fighting? This is a huge prize, and I want you to go nuts with it. You have one week to reply. The thread will be closed on November 6 at 11:59am ET/8:59am PT, and BuddyTV editors will choose the best response.

The battle was over.

The bodies of the demons, the hellspawns, lay on the ground. Angel, standing over them. Beaten and bloody. But, in the end, he had prevailed. He rushed over to Spike, who was standing over Gunn's dead body. Spike sighed.

"He put up a hell of a fight, mate."

"Yeah." Angel replied.

With a might shove, Illyria emerges for a pile of bodies.

"My grief. Why is it not gone? We have slayed the ones that killed Wesley."

"Right." Spike noted. "Funny thing about revenge. It doesn't always take the pain away."

Angel looks over at Spike.

"Can't believe I'm saying this, but for once, I agree with Spike."

"Face it soulboy. You can't live without me." Spike smreked.

Angel looks off in the distance.

"There'll be more." Angel said.

"And if there are, we'll be ready for 'em. I died once doing the right thing." Spike noted. "Didn't like it all that much, that's why I'm back."

"We all suffered losses today. Let's get Gunn's body out of here, then, we'll see what tomorrow brings." Angel said.

With that, Spike lifts Gunn's lifeless body over his shoulders, as the three walk away. Awaiting whatever lies ahead.

Seriously, you should do more fan fiction contest, but they need to be show I watch LOL (I'll stop being selfish now) Okay this is going to take some time. Angel has been one of those shows I've seen now and then and have wanted to collect the DVDs for, but just haven't.

Anyway, I'll come back with something since I haven't seen the end episode, I'll have to wing it.

The rain continued to fall. They had adjusted to it quickly, forgetting that it was there. Many of the enemy where dead, dusted or lay scattered across the ground. yet more continued to come.

Illyria found herself fighting without even having to consider her next move. She moved smoothly, gracefully, and efficiently. The enemies approacher her, thinking she would be an easy kill. They soon found out how wrong they were.

Angel stood on a ledge up on an apartment building. This dragon had been a most interesting fighting opponent. Angel had managed to injure it, despite its unpredictable behavior.The dragon breathe a steam of fire in Angel's direction. He jumped off the ledge, avoiding the fiery stream, and landing on the ground.
"Is it hot out here or is it just you?" he asked the dragon, circling it slowly with his sword, ready to strike if given the oppourtunity.

The dragon looked at him and seemed to be thing "why are you not afraid?"

Angel couldnt help but laugh. "Come on, you can do better than that!" he challenged.

The dragon roared with fury and let out another stream of fire. Angel took this opportunity to duck underneath the dragon, taking himself away from the fire. He managed to maneuver closer to the dragon and push his sword deep in where the dragons heart should be. The dragon stood still momentarily, before slowly falling to the ground.

The dragons fall had knocked out a few of their enemy. "Ouch!" From beneath where it landed Angel heard the unmistakable voice of Spike. Angel laughed. Spike poked his head out from behind the dragon, dusting himself off. "ruddy Dragon!" he commented. Then sensing movement behind him, Spike turned and started fighting a new foe.

Some of the vampires had seen the dragon fall, and for the first time in this battle they started to panic. It occurred to them that they could loose this battle. In a panic, one of the run up and seized Gunn by the neck. Gunn had been fighting two other vampires so had not had an opportunity to sense or even react, until it was too late.

The Vampire pulled Gunns neck towards his sharp teeth, and held Gunns hands done at the same time. Angel could see the fear in Gunn's eyes. The vampire pushed his teeth into Gunn's neck and started to drink. Angel started in horror, so shocked he wasnt even able to move. Then when the shocked passed, and he tried to help Gunn, he found himself surrounded by a new circle of enemy vampires. Angel started to fight them, moving fast and furiously. Angel could no longer see Gunn. He felt completely helpless, which made him angry. Angel fought harder than he had before.

The rain continued to fall, and so did the enemies. It was several hours before the final enemies were slain and the rain suddenly stopped. The street suddenly became very quiet. There were bodies and broken weapons scattered all over the street.

Angel stood over Gunn. He had rushed to his friend as soon as he could. Yet it was too late. Angel was shocked by what he saw. They hadnt killed him as expected...they had turned him. Angel gritted his teach as he looked at his friend.

Spike and Illyria joined him. Illyria had a small cut on the side of her cheek, but otherwise it appeared she had come through the battle unscatted.

Spike looked at Gunn, and he knew. "Thats unexpected"

Angel glared at Spike. He had to admit, Spike had fought well, and killed a lot of enemies, and he was thankful for his help. Of course he would never say that to Spike.

"We have to get him out of here" Angel spoke finally breaking the silence.

Spike titled his head, "he wouldnt want this. He would prefer to be dead"

Angel looked at Spike. "I...I cant...hes my friend, this is my fault...I can help him...." Angel's voice trailed off.

Spike looked doubtful, yet he realized that now was not the time to argue. They had work to do. "Ok lets get out of there then"

Angel picked up Gunns body carefully and started walking into the darkness. Spike turned to Illyria. "Coming?"

She raiser her head, her blue hair falling away from her face. "Im not injured.... so why is my body in so much pain?" she queried

"Ah," Spike replied, "that be love. Hurts like hell. Trust me Ive been there"

Illyria looked at Spike, and knew he could understand. Together they walked away inti the night, into the darkness of the future.

Angel actually doesnt say a thing... he just walks away into the darkness to brood some more...

I got all giddy when I saw an Angel comp... but I have that boxset already and have never 'got' fanfic - lucky for me on this occassion cos I'd stand no chance LOL!!!
