I don't think we get this over here in the UK - at least I've never seen it anyhow, so don't really know much about it (or heard of most of the people on the list!)

BUT...

I'd love to announce the Horizon Award. I love watching American Idol and Kellie Pickler is one of my favourite people from the show so I'd just announce the winner as her (even if it wasn't haha!) just so I could meet her. Lame ass answer I know, but the best I could come up with - was either that or the group that the Wreckers are in and my reason for that would be cos they were on One Tree Hill!!

I would like to present the Entertainer of the Year Award, since the nominees are the all around best artists, in my opinion. I wouldn't mind just being there to watch though. It is all good!

I'd have to pick Male Vocalist Of The Year.

Why? Well the truth is I used to hate country music.
My dad is a huge fan and listens to it all the time, so now it has really kinda grown on me. I now have a big amount of respect for country music, and the vocals are astonishing.
I first started to like country music when I saw the movie Walk The Line. It is now one of my favorite movies, and the music is just... there are no words to describe it. So after seeing that movie I started growing fond of my dads music, and he mainly listened to Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, and Keith Urban just to name a few. And they are all nominated for this particular award. I took a listen at the other two artists' music, and I must say they are all just as good, if not better than the rest.
It would be a HUGE honor to present this award, especially because I listen to music for the sound and each and every one of those singers have an extremely unique sound, and in my eyes all of them deserve the award equally.

So the reason I picked that award is because no matter who wins I will be pleased. Which means being there on stage I wont be disappointed and think to myself "Aww, but I wanted him to win!", I'd just be happy either way!

That's a tough one. I am a huge country music fan. Country music is what I have the most of in my cd collection. It would change every year if I had the chance. For this year I think I would choose Horizon Award. This year there is such a great group of nominees with Jason Aldean, Rodney Atkins, Little Big Town, Kellie Pickler and Taylor Swift. I think maybe Taylor may win this one. It's so cool to see an up and coming artist win an award. This award might be the second best award of the night this year. This year I think the Female Vocalist of the Year is a good one. You have 3 veterans going up against 2 newcomers, in a sense. I really like each of the nominees in this category and even though Reba McEntire is one of my all time favorites I am really hoping Miranda Lambert. Both of her albums are great. I kind of got off track there. So, basically if I were chosen to given one of the CMA awards away I would definetly choose the Horizon Award. You can always say, "I gave them their very first CMA."

I would like to present Male Vocalist of the Year. Why? Because my father is one of those people you see playing the guitar in those bars by the beach in Florida. He absolutely loves country and absolutely idolizes the people up for the award this year. He even taught me how to play the guitar. My sister and him always go to Karaoke night at this one bar and sings, "I Put Your Picture Away". He would absolutely go bananas if I got to present this award. I know I might get thrown out, but I would first dedicate that award to my father before i gave it out.

If I were to be a presenter at the CMA, I would hope to announce a new surprise category titled Most Influential Artist. This category would be announced towards the end of the show...since it would be a surprise category to everyone that night. This would be an award given to an artist who wrote their own lyrics and the lyrics were very impressionable in which changed the outlook of life for millions of people.

But if I have to pick a real category for this contest I would choose the Horizon Award. Why?....Because this award is given to an individual who has demonstrated the most significant creative growth and I am all for creativity. I am an artist myself, amateur photographer, so I can relate to creativity. It's definitely hard work.

I was going to say that I'd like to present the Male Vocalist of the Year because two out of five men are quite nice to look at, probably even nicer standing next to them (I'll let you decide whom I'm talking about), but it seems these guys are already taken, damn. So although there's a good chance I could present the award to some hottie, it wouldn't be much fun cause they'd run off to their wife.
Now I have to admit that I don't know much about Country music so I can't make a decision based on the quality of the music - but I do know the Rascal Flatts and they're cool! I like their songs and since they are the only Country singers I know (apart from Crosby, Stills and Nash and of course Johnny Cash...) I would like to give the award to them. And their category, Vocal Group of the Year, has one more advantage: Emerson Drive looks like a whole bunch of hotties in one group.
Should this plan not work and I end up giving the award to the Dixie Chicks :-/ there's always the after-show party.....
And yes, with this answer I sound absolutely shallow.
