If I were to give away one award, it would have to be the pioneer award. I love music history and I am a big, big fan of the way country used to be; simple music that told a story. Clear, strong voices without all of the big noise attached to it, over-played guitars and booming "rock-like" atmosphere. Country music is to me what Johnny Cash, George Jones, Hank Williams Sr, etc. sang back in its early years. Not Pop Rock. That would be the ultimate award to give.

Default Horizon Award

I would love to present the Horizon award, so I could rig the results for Taylor Swift. Haha. Just kidding.
But like she said, "You know, I'm not really looking to model my career after anyone. I'm looking to do something new," all of the Horizon Award nominees are just starting out with brand new careers and this award would probably be their first major award. It'd be amazing to share the excitement up close with them; and I'd be the first person to congratulate them. Also, the winner has the potential to become a huge star and a future entertainer/male/female artist of the year; so, I would be presenting an artist with their first stepping stone to stardom.
Plus, all of the nominees for this category this year give awesome hugs!

Hmm, If I could present an award for the 41st CMA Awards I would definitely choose to present 'Female Vocalist of the Year' for a couple of reasons.

One reason is for some reason I don't quite like male country singers yet almost every female country singer I hear I enjoy. The female voice in country music is a lot more relaxed in my opinion which helps the song flow better.

Another reason is that I especially enjoy listening to songs by Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood, and they all have a chance of winning 'Female Vocalist of the Year' so if any of them won I'd enjoy presenting the award even more. I'd be especially happy and quite proud if Carrie Underwood won because I believe she deserves it most (And her new cd is amazing )

I'd want to give out the Horizon Award.

It acknowledges an up-and-coming artist for their potential and gives them the exposure they need to plant their foot firmly inside the door of Nashville's system. It's tough making it into the Top 40 Pop music business, but it's surprisingly even harder in Nashville. The city is full of people trying to break into music.

Even being nominated for the Horizon Award is an honor, because it also gives a bit of exposure for those artists who don't win.

As an underdog and dreamer myself, this would be the award to give out, because the recipient is easily the most grateful and humble person to win an award at the CMAs. They haven't been jaded by Nashville yet and to see their face light up (and then go pale when they realize they're being watched by millions ) would be a real treat.

Default Awards

It would be such an honor to present any award at the show, but if I had to choose I would probably choose Entertainer of the Year.I twould great to present the award to any of the nominees especially Keith Urban. He is my favorite and such an awesome musician as well as entertainer. He puts on an amazing show and has done a lot of shows all over the world so he deserves it in my opinion.

I would want to announce the Female Vocalist of the Year Award, and regardless of whose name was in the envelope, I would blurt out Carrie Underwood's name. I'm married, but I have a little bit of a crush on her.

Either that, or I would want to announce whichever award will be handed out first, so that I could get out early, ahead of the traffic, and hit all of the after-parties.

I'd like to present "Best Female Vocalist of the Year".

Primarily because there are some cute country music women out there.

I would want to give out the Entertainer of the Year. The person who wins that award is the one who has encompassed all the it means to be a "star". Not only with the musical talent but the fans also...the shows they put on. Its a two way street, not just talent but who you are playing for.

Other than that any award would be good. It is usually the best of the best, so it would be a great honor to announce anyones name.
