9/12/07-9/19/07 Simpsons: Testify CD Contest

Hey y'all,
Debbie here again, announcing a new contest. This week, we are giving away Simpsons paraphernalia, in the form of five copies of their new CD soundtrack of the best songs from season 10 through 18. It's called The Simpsons: Testify, and it is presented by Shout! Factory. It hits stores on September 18, which is only a week away! You can get your free copy here by entering this contest. We also have five Simpsons posters and five Simpsons magnets.

I know there are a lot of Simpsons fans out there, and fortunately we have a lot of stuff to give away this week. Here is how we will pick the winners:
1. One winner will receive all three items.
2. One winner will receive a CD and a poster.
3. One winner will receive a CD and a magnet.
4. One winner will receive a poster and a magnet.
5. Two winners will each receive one CD.
6. Two winners will each receive one poster.
7. Two winners will each receive one magnet.

The top four winners will be the chosen by BuddyTV editors based on whose response makes us laugh the most. The remaining six winners will be chosen randomly.

To enter the contest, please reply to the Simpsons: Testify Contest thread in the BuddyTV forum with your answer to the question: "If you could be any character (main or obscure) in the Simpsons-verse, whom would you be and why?" You have until September 19 at noon ET/8:59am PT. (Please note the change in time from midnight to noon.) The thread will be closed at that time and the winners will be announced shortly thereafter.

I would be Maggie, because what's more fun than crawling around sucking on a pacifier all day?

If I was her I would also demand more airtime.

I would be Groundskeeper Willie for the following reasons:

5. I would speak with a Scottish accent.

4. I could be as rude as I want to all school students, teachers and administrators and not be worried about losing my job. (If you can find anyone other than Willie to keep your grass quite so green, I dare you to find him!)

3. I could be a surly old coot and yell at the children to stay off my grass.

2. I would look like an average Joe with my clothes on (even appearing to have a pot belly) but when duty calls I could rip off my garments and expose to all my obscenely muscular physique whilst tackling any adversity.

1. I could run around the school grounds shouting "Make way for Willie!"

The relationship between him and Mr. Burns is very similar to my relationship with my boss... Though, I haven't gone so far as removing dead skin off of her or help her chew and swallow, but I do many things for my boss that a normal assistant wouldn't do...

Ralph because sometimes ignorance really is bliss. I could get away with all sorts of deviant behavior by just blaming it on the leprechaun sitting on my shoulder. Plus, people would call me special on a regular basis! Erm, wait....maybe they meant "special"?

I would be Lisa! She's smart, witty and talented. Even though she's sometimes misunderstood or a bit of an outsider, she finds confidence to be herself in the face of rejection! She knows who she is and doesn't back down!
