The Heroes Season 1 DVDs will be available in stores on August 28, BuddyTV is giving away one free copy to one of our forum members! Not only that, we have five super cool 9th Wonders lunchboxes to give away too. All you have to do to enter is reply to this thread with an answer to this question: "What special ability would you like to see in a new character on Heroes this season and why?" This thread will be open until 11:59PM EST on August 28, so enter today! EDITED to say that the metal lunchboxes just came in the mail and two of them arrived a bit dented on the bottom. They are both perfectly usable, just a bit dented. Last edited by buddytv : 08-27-2007 at 02:55 PM.

this season i would like to see someone with an hability like Dorian Grey, (from "League Of Extraordinary Gentleman") an ageless guy who has his old soul in a painting, and as long as he doesn't look at the painting he's young. Not exactly that, but something similar. I REALLY HOPE I WIN, I LOVE HEROES, ![]() ![]()

Perhaps a character with some physical deformation could be added to the cast, similar to what the thing from fantastic 4 experiences. This could lead to sub plots involving this character and how he has to interact with a world that would shun him if his existence was known (he has to hide in the sewers) and also how the good heroes think he's a threat initially because of the way he looks. Rather than looking like a rock however, this character could look like liquid and his powers are controlling water (like Pyro but water) and is soluble making him able to merge with anything liquid. so he could become part of the water in the drain and end up in someones house through the tap and take his liquid human form (Essentially looking like human torch but water and permanent). The reason why this character would be a good idea is, as mentioned above, provide many interesting sub plots due to his looks and this character will be powerful as hell since he can get away quickly and re-emerge almost anywhere instantly not to mention creating Tsunami's. Besides, everyone in Heroes look so normal, there aren't any disfigured characters in it yet, unlike almost all major comic brands.

In the second season I would like the writers to introduce a new character with the ability to speak in tongues. A person who can understand any language throughout history, plus be able to understand animals and mammals of any kind.

I'd love to see someone with feral instincts that include a heightened hearing range and other senses (such as ability to 'see' in the dark, sense/smell others coming, etc)

I would like to see a new character introduced with the power to put a person's mind at ease; to provide total thought clarity to others, no matter how tense or distracting a situation might be. They would have to be in close proximity or even touching the person they are giving thought clarity to in order for their power to work. One stipulation would be that the character could not use their power on himself/herself, only others. This character would be a great benefit to the good guys, because it would allow them to make smart decisions when facing down their dangerous opponents. A person with this ability would be a huge asset to their cause. A character like this would also be very valuable to Sylar and any other villains that come about. The ability to see things clearly would allow any foe to make nearly fool-proof plans, conceivably thwarting the good guys' efforts to stop them. Both sides of the battle would seek this character's allegiance for their power.

I would like to see a somewhat outcast of a character with the ability to generate and absorb electricity. An active cell of sorts that can absorb electricity from the air, electrical units, even lightning and discharge it at will. Outcast part of it can be either a physical deformity or by the character discharging electricity unwillingly. I feel theres room for growth in this because he/she can always be out of control and become the new threat, or they could grow to understand and control the power.

I would like to see a character that has the ability to tell if someone is lying or telling the truth. This would be a great asset.

I'd like to see a character who could temporarily merge themselves into the mind or body of another person and control all their thoughts and actions.
