Gary Dourdan and William PetersenPreviously on CSI, Warrick (Gary Dourdan) proved himself to be a loose cannon, conducting his own police investigation.

Tonight's CSI begins at a funeral. Pallbearers carrying a coffin lead a procession of largely black mourners, accompanied by a gospel choir. In mid-procession, the bottom of the casket falls out and two bodies tumble out, a white corpse and black corpse. The CSI team arrives shortly thereafter and find out that there was a secret compartment in the casket. Nobody can identify the white corpse, as yet, or who hid him in the casket.

WOW! Talk about hitting a guy when he's down! Seriously though, the producers of CSI just lost a fan (or more likely 10,000 fans) after pulling a stunt like that. He better be honored with a heroes funeral in the season premiere or something along those lines. So sad.. he gave 8 years of his life to this show and they throw him out like a bad piece of trash. Screw CBS and screw CSI.

Honestly he was exiting before his current arrest and this was already filmed. I was shocked and saddened by that end but bravo to such a well kept secret!

talk about rebounding. after that tragedy of an episode last week which might have been the worst episode the show has had. they come back with what might have been the best. i never saw that ending coming. i'm bummed that Gary Dourdin is not coming back, but i like that they jumped into writting him off the show with both feet. sets up next season which i heard would be the last to be very interesting. CSI stick to what works like last night, no more experimenting with writters from another show that was lame.

to wonderjer and to lilmamita69.....wow you two really need to step away from the tv for a bit!!! it is a SHOW!!!! to get so upset about how they end a character is beyond strange!!! And if you were real fans of the show you would realize that characters come and go and even though it is sad what is going on with Gary in his non-CSI life...it is still a TV show...an amazing show but a show none the less!!! I think the writers did a great job on how they exited this character (as sad as it was) and the shock factor to it...welll...BRAVO!!!!!!!! maybe you should take a break from the TV for a bit and realize that it isnt reality TV...they are paid actors....Paid very well i imagine....Life goes on...bring on next season and what i am sure will be a great one!!!!!!!!!

I cried when Warrick was shot. My heart sank when the show ended with Warrick dead in the car. Why killing his character on CSI? He was a great actor and I loved seeing him in every episode. What a shame his character is being killed in season finale.

I was shocked beyond words, I didn't expect Warrick to be killed off. That being said this episode was a grat one, non-stop, edge of your seat suspense. Warrick went out with a bang, it was both realistic and shocking. He will be missed. Warrick Brown - RIP
