CSI: Gary Dourdan Speaks About his Arrest

Supporters of Gary Dourdan have been distressing over the many controversies surrounding the 41-year-old actor for some time now. May viewers are having a hard time to accept that the he will soon be leaving CSI, the forensic drama in which he portrays Warrick Brown. But fans are having even more difficulty accepting the fact that he has been recently arrested on suspicion of drug possession.

Now, Dourdan has issued a statement to explain his arrest and to address his disappointed fans.

I am glad that the drugs were not his, but you still need to watch out who are supposed to be your friends.

I am sorry that Gary is leaving CSI as he was one of my favs. Regardless he has to realize that being parked on the wrong side of the road asleep and with drugs ( although maybe not his) but with a blood alcohol level that as he himself states "that pulling over did prevent a DUI" he shouldn't have been driving at all but got a cab, it was irresponsible and dumb and sends the wrong message out to youngsters. I will miss you Gary.

i am so glad tht he wasn't doing the drugs. he is one of my favorite characters besides Nick & Catherine. I will miss him dearly on the show. but thnk god tht i am getting all of the CSI DVD box sets and seasons.

He's one of my favs on CSI. I remember him in the 80s from "A Different World." He wore dreads then but he was still a very interesting character even back then.

Drinking and driving is foolish and he should never have climbed behind a wheel. Period.

I too will miss you Gary. Find peace, joy and happiness and success after CSI.

I believe you and I wish you would not leave the show there are other actors who are guilty of such a crime. All the power to you please reconsider leaving CSI.

THE WERE NOT MY DRUGS.................THEY WERE NOT MY DRUGS...........THEY WERE NOT MY DRUGS...................KEEP TELLING EVERYONE THAT GARY.............WHAT WOULD CSI DO...........IN YOUR CAR...........YOUR ARE RESPONSIBLE.....................OH BY THE WAY.............NOW THAT YOU HAVE CAUGHT ME...................THE ONLY THING IMPORTANT IS FAMILY AND GOD HEY GET A BETTER LINE THAT ONE IS OLD AND TIRED.............GLAD YOU ARE OFF THE SHOW AND HOPE NOT TO SEE YOU ON TV AGAIN FOR A LONG LONG TIME
