'CSI' Star Dourdan Arrested for Possession of Hard Drugs

CSI star Gary Dourdan has some issues. CBS recently announced that Dourdan would be leaving the series after this season. While the agreement was said to be mutual, CBS did admit that Dourdan had some personal issues that played a part in his departure. Those personal problems came to a head Monday morning in Palm Springs. TMZ is reporting that Dourdan was arrested at 5:20am Monday morning on suspicion of possession of heroin, cocaine, ecstasy and prescription drugs. That's some major stuff. Dourdan was found by police asleep in his car on the side of the road.

Wow...well I guess the mystery of why he's leaving CSI is cleared up.

CSI hasn't suffered since Jorja left, I don't think Gary leaving will hurt CSI. Although unlike Sara I will miss Warrick. CSI has already taken steps to replace him so it will go on. This is a shame though, I hope Gary gets himself together.

Yeah it certainly sounds like this was part of the reason he is leaving
I like Penny love his character but he needs to get his life under control and I hope he does he has a lot of potential

Poor guy I really feel bad for him. I hope he can pull himself together because life still goes on after CSI. I'm going to miss his character. Well I am a lawyer and I can tell you he's not going to get off so easy.

I want to thank you Oscar for writing such a "kind" article about Dourdan. So often, writers take cheap shots and sensationalize. We sometimes forget actors are people first and I with others, hopes he gets himself through this.
