I'm 62, and I had a deep touch of saddness when this week's episode showed "Grissom" hurrying away to his taxi, and departure from the show. I've always enjoyed the style of acting that he delivers, and the calming effect that he brings to the show, no matter what torrid issues are at hand. His character's use of "old knowledge" and cliches is quite amusing. Take a bow, William, from a much-admiring Aussie. I hope that you have returned by now. William Peterson is a great actor and the second est man alive he ranks up there with Shawn Canary ok so i cant spell i may be only 23 but i would have loved to be an extra in the show just to get a chance to meet him without the charictor grissom the show wont be the same
