| The Game Plan, which starred Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Madison Pettis (Cory in the House), grossed $22.9 million in 3,103 theaters when it hit the debuted on September 28 and even hit the number 1 spot at the U.S. and Canadian box office. The film was also number 1 movie in its second weekend, grossing $16.6 million.Directed by Andy Fickman, The Game Plan centers on Joe Kingman (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson), an American quarterback who plays for the fictional Boston Rebels, whose lifestyle changes when he discovers he has an 8-year-old daughter named Peyton (Madison Pettis).
