| For 13 episodes, viewers have come to know Chuck Bartowski as the “average computer-whiz-next-door” whose brain is embedded with the only remaining copy of the world's greatest spy secrets on television series Chuck. Soon, however, fans will get to know the characters of the NBC action sitcom in a different light. According to TV Guide, the producers behind the show have decided to come up with a six-issue comic series that is independent from the storylines of the show. "Since we can do absolutely anything in a comic book, we're going to take Chuck Bartowski out of the confines of the Buy More store and put him on crazy, globe-trotting spy adventures a la James Bond,” co-writer Peter Johnson, who also wrote the TV-to-comic adaptation Supernatural: Rising Son, told TV Guide.
