| This is one of my favorite shows. Also one of the most bizarre. How is next season going to start? Will the partnership be restored? Any new dark subplots coming (like the slasher, etc.)? |

| Moderator ![]() | Here are a few from Kristen at E rom Evangelia in Galveston, Texas: I loved your Hollywood scoop on Nip/Tuck's new episodes! I can't wait for it to come back! Me neither! And you'll be excited to hear that the show is really taking a new turn in season five. Not only are Christian and Sean dipping their toes into showbiz, the entire series is diving into the world of Hollyweird. I'm just now hearing about a major recurring character who plays a hit TV show runner (à la Damon Lindelof or Tim Kring)! They're also bringing in a powerful studio exec, who lives a bit of an alternative lifestyle on the down low. And I'm told the editor of Us Weekly makes a cameo too...but it's not Janice Min—just the show's interpretation of her! Mary in Bishop, California: Any more Nip/Tuck news? I need something to tide me over! I’m hearing one of the boys is approached to pose for Playgirl! Please, J.C., let it be J.M.! (That's Jesus Christ in the first reference, Julian McMahon in the second, for you trying to keep up with my sick mind.) Priya in Olancha, California: When's Nip/Tuck returning? Kristin replies: The fifth season premieres Oct. 23, and I’ve got some major news: Julia and her new girlfriend (played by Ms. Portia de Rossi)—yes I said girlfriend— will be the victims of a violent crime this year. I’m hearing the pair is kidnapped, sexually assaulted and left to deal with the emotional ramifications of the event for many episodes to come. So, yeah, just another happy-go-lucky season of N/T in store for you, for which you will need therapy afterward. and some random ones Nip/Tuck," they're bringing in a scary new villain -- a barely legal teenage girl described by casting sources as "blatantly sexual and casually cruel" who meets Dr. Sean McNamara (Dylan Walsh) as a patient who wants hymen reconstruction surgery, then proceeds to seduce him. Actresses auditioning for the part are being told they must be comfortable with "extremely risqué sexual situations."
