boston legalBoston Legal may have been renewed for another season but that doesn't mean that ABC will run the legal dramedy for a long time. The network has just decided that the show's fifth season will also be its last.

According to ABC president Steve McPherson, Boston Legal will bow out with a 13-episode run in the fall, which will push the show just past the 100-episode mark.

This is stupid. Boston Legal is a great show and has a proven formula. I never agreed to trade in James Spader and William Shatner for Colm Meeney.
You know what I'd like to see? A pick up from another network. Won't happen though unless 'Life on Mars' falls flat on it's face.

I predict they are going to end it with Denny's mad cow taking over and then Alan having to pull the plug on him (with flashback's to the episode where Alan had to help Shirley with her father).

It will be so sad to see it go. It's a great show. But at least it won't be on Wednesday's next year!

I dislike Boston Legal so much. Where is the article about October Road being axed??? Come on BuddyTV you wrote up about most every other show. I don't see one for OR. By the way the fan's of OR are still fighting to save it, even though stupid enough bring BL back. So stupid, David E Kelly uses this show to ram his political views down the public's throat. It was not bad two seasons ago but not any more! It's so full of propaganda I just can't stomach anymore!

An award winning show, only 5 seasons? Why ? I do have to wonder, why did the network make that decision based on Life on Mars. what does one have to do with the other? aside that David E Kelley runs both shows, albeit he didn't create Life on Mars?

I watched Boston Legal for awhile, mostly because of William Shatner who was a hoot. But I recently took it off my Tivo and stopped watching it because I got tired of the constant liberal diatribe. Week after week of in-your-face David E. Kelly politics. Pffffftttt!
