While many networks might be in trouble next Fall due to the writers' strike shrinking the new pilot season, ABC is looking quite good. It has a solid stable of returning favorites (Ugly Betty, Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives), hit reality shows (The Bachelor, Dancing with the Stars) and a solid 2007 freshman class that will return for sophomore seasons (Pushing Daisies, Dirty Sexy Money, Samantha Who?). This doesn't leave much room for new or bubble shows, so this season ABC is cleaning out its closet, dumping a lot of iffy shows while picking up a few gems from other networks. To read the rest, click here.

Yes, another season of BL is great news, as is the likely resurrection of Eli Stone, a real gem. ABC is looking good, between those two, plus Greys, Betty, DH, BroSis, SamWho, Daisies, Private Practice, DSM, and hopefully the new show Cupid (Rob Thomas' remake of his earlier show).

Yes! More Boston Legal and Eli Stone, though I hope they start delving more into the prophet side of things next season. Please don't frak up Life on Mars, Colm Meaney as a morally questionable cop in the 70s, what could go wrong with that?

I'm excited about Life on Mars...but worried at the same time. The original was excellent, but it was only meant for two seasons. I'm wondering if the US version is going to follow the same plotline and timeline, and if this will be a problem should the show survive past the two seasons originally done in England. It was an open ended show, with plenty of room for interpretation, so I'm looking forward to seeing how this pans out.

"Surviving the Filthy Rich" is kind of a lame title. "Filthy Rich Girls" would have been much better. Oh well, I'll totally watch it either way.

That show already went from How to Teach Filtyh Rich Girls to Surviving the Filtyh Rich. I fully expect another title change before it premieres. And I agree, something as simple as "Filthy Rich Girls" would be a great title to pair with Gossip Girl. It's a bit like Dirty Sexy Money.
