The new year is ushering in a batch of pre-strike episodes of several shows, one of which is ABC's Boston Legal. The last time viewers caught a fresh installment of the legal dramedy was December 18, but the network is getting ready to break the dry spell, starting with an episode called “Mad About You.”

I used to watch Boston Legal. Even started watching it because William Shatner was such a hoot. But then I got weary of the constant diatribe each week promoting various liberal causes. I suppose I should have known being "Boston" Legal it would be that way. There are plenty of other shows to watch that don't hit me over the head with their political views and pretend to call it entertainment.
