| Technically speaking, tonight's edition of Bones is the third original, post-strike episode to air since Bones returned April 14. However, due to special extenuating circumstances, it's turned out more like the fourth, since “The Player Under Pressure,” which aired April 21, was actually an episode from the second season that was yanked from its original schedule in light of the Virginia Tech massacre. As such, it became a quasi-original offering because it was broadcast for the very first time. Tonight's Bones entitled “The Verdict in the Story” features the return of veteran star, Ryan O'Neal, back in his role as Temperance Brennan's (Emily Deschanel) father. | I'm kind of nervous to watch this episode. We've been seeing so much sweet chemistry between Booth and Bones, that I'm worried it will be ruined by this. I suppose this episode has to be done, but I wish that it didn't! I just hope everybody will be able to move past this and be friends again! |

| I can't even imagine what Angela and the rest of them are supposed to testify to - Booth and Bones were really the only ones interacting with Max. And I don't see Bones trying to prove his innocence unless he really is innocent - she would not fabricate evidence or manipulate forensics. If Max is really innocent then Booth won't have a problem - he is all about right and wrong and if they have the wrong guy Booth wouldn't stand for that. |

| He could be guilty, but were there extenuating cir!@#!@stances? I agree with kelleygirl, why is the rest of the team involved? Most of the history was well before Bones became an adult. Booth's involvement is also minimal. The death penalty is not always the answer or resolve. |
