Big Brother 9 was the first ever winter edition of summer's guiltiest pleasure. Thanks to the Hollywood writer's strike, the ninth edition premiered with 16 houseguests and a new twist: the contestants would be playing as couples. While the houseguests were not happy with this idea, neither was America. The day did not come soon enough when the couples were split, returning the game to be played as individuals as it was meant to be played. This was my first time to watch Big Brother and from what I've heard, the ninth edition was by far, the most outrageous season with the most outrageous guests. I agree. They are definitely not like anyone I have ever met and I am happy they were on a television show rather than at my house for dinner. To read the rest, click here.

BB should cast an older group with some history individually and reunite them (but NOT as couples) with someone from their pasts and see what happens. It would be fun to watch and see if anything develops (friendships repaired, romances develop, etc.).

Hey, I agree. How about a senior version. Age has no boundaries on people acting stupid. What would be better than some sordid past relationships being put together after several years of no communication? Could be interesting to see who still has some feelings and who still holds on to old feelings of disgust.

Kris, your summary is dead-on except for the comments about Natalie. There were others in the house who earned the labels of "derisive" and "promiscuous" far more than she did.

This is the first EVER US big brother I have watched (due to living in England) as E4 have only showed this one. however it is ten times better than the crap they produce over here...one of our tasks was to stay up for 3 days if they feel a sleep they lost (that made good viewing....not) so I cant wait for the tenth series
