The biggest problem with living on the West Coast is that I get shows three hours later than everyone else. The one good thing is that, since everything on TV is centered around EST, I don't have to worry about preemptions. Today the Pope left the United States, and on the East Coast, the first two-thirds of Big Brother 9 were unaired to cover the Pope. While the episode re-aired at 11:30pm, it means that those of us on the West Coast actually got to see the full episode before the East Coast. One week away from the Big Brother 9 finale, Ryan has to nominate two people for eviction, though it doesn't matter, as I've explained and will explain again. Therefore, prepare for the last episode entirely devoted to mindless filler. To read the rest, click here.

Well, John, if you watched the live feeds, you would know that Ryan won the last POV of the season, which means he has the power to make sure that the two people he wants most to be evicted will remain on the nomination block. Since he didn't nominate Adam to begin with, I would guess that he is still more confident about competing for the $500 thousand against Adam than Sharon or Sheila. If he really wanted Adam gone, it is doubtful that he would pursue a backdoor tactic at this point in the game. It would be better to take your chances and nominate him immediately, so at least, Adam knows he has to fight his butt off in the POV competition, leaving fewer hard feelings between the two if Adam is sent to join the jury.

I am still pissed that BB GAVE Ryan HOH with that bull $hit guinie pig question and now he has POV too!!! I really don't want him to win and take all of that money home to Jen. She was so worried about the money that she actually sold out her own boyfriend and told people he was raciest to further herself in the game and now she wrote him that letter like "Oh my whole life is about watching you on the life feed.....blah blah blah...and bring home the money!" I so hope he realizes that when he gets home!

As this was a recap of the TV episode, I wanted to keep the PoV spoiler out of my commentary. However, it doesn't change the fact that Ryan has no power in actually deciding who goes home, only in who gets to make that choice. He can trust whoever he wants to do what he wants, but let's be honest: right now, alliances don't matter at all: Adam will eliminate whoever he wants and not think twice about how it would affect Ryan's game.

Well, so much for avoiding spoilers! LOL Hmmm, I wonder what's going to happen. This is going to be an interesting week to see where the loyalty lies.

That makes no sense. Adam doesn't need to talk Ryan into anything, since Adam has the only vote and therefore can evict Sharon without any input. And Ryan will be able to compete for next HoH, as they always do for F3. If they switch that around, then I think we can all say that Allison Grodner is the worst person alive.
