Big Brother 9 has been insane. Already, there have been hook-ups, abundant nudity, charges of racism, secrets and lies and more secrets, fake lesbians, a surprise exit from the house, intense fights with extensive use of the c-word and, as viewers will see tonight, two separate emergency hospital visits. I guess you can't ask for much more entertainment from the Big Brother house guests, though it makes you wonder where they can go from here. Actually, hold that - maybe I'd rather not think about how the house guests will top their already outlandish shenanigans. I'll be here throughout tonight's episode, giving live updates as the hour goes along. To read the rest, click here.

So I'd seen the youtube videos of Amanda fainting, but the aftermath is what actually got to me. I really admire James at the moment, for trying so hard to keep Amanda still and comfort her while Nurse Tammy tried to keep her "stable" until the paramedics got there. No wonder he was the one on the live feeds most freaked out by the whole event.

Now that Ive seen the show it appears to me that there is a possibility the alergies and seizures were not faked but in fact staged. Alisons jogging would increase her metabolism to quicken any effects from an alergic reaction. It would have to be coordinated with Amanda basically not eating enough, of which she knows better. She has been hypoglycemic since high school. It was not her first seizure. So, being so lovey dovey is so boring, it was time to sling hash and get dramatic. Maybe next they will bring in some drugs.

Can't wait to watch, but Oscar, much as I too hate using shows to promote other shows, in my mind, it's OK if it's a good show. Jericho is great, and if this helps just one more person discover it , a ll the better. It's like when NPH came into the house, Yes, it helps promote HIMYM, but isn't that a show worth promoting. If the Dillon Panthers came out to support a contestant on Deal or No Deal, I'd be OK, because FNL deserves it. Now if the PoV comp was CSI or Moonlight-related, that would be another story.

Also, maybe if the whole world had a seize or an allergy, everyone would be nice to each other. I hate it when people start being nice to someone because they were seriously hurt or injured. It doesn't change the fact that Amanda was an annoying beeyothc, and why should you feel bad about being mean to an annoying beeyotch?

You're right...I had no problem when NPH came on, but they didn't blatantly talk about HIMYM (if I recall correctly). The Jericho thing seemed so elaborate and unnecessary. Also, I'm no Jericho watcher and these cross-promos did nothing to entice me. In fact, I'm less inclined to watch Jericho after that.

Well Oscar, luckily America is dumber than you and more easily coerced into doing things by TV shows.
