Big Brother 9: Season Premiere Live Thoughts

Well, let's meet these new house guests, shall we? Big Brother kicks off its 9th season tonight and, for the first time, us Big Brother fans are getting a special Winter season. Executive producer Allison Grodner has promised an extra steamy season of Big Brother this time around - the contestants will be paired up with a soul mate (as determined by a compatibility test) and they will compete in teams. This is something new for the Big Brother franchise and I, for one, feel pretty good about it. It should be fun and it will definitely make Big Brother: After Dark something worth watching.

So they get eliminated as couples? So does that translate to a shorter season? Also I missed the America's player twist. What does that entail exactly?

Awesome start. Like Oscar, I love that the exes are together and the couple isn't. So cruel. I already hate James, because you can't give yourself a nickname ("Crazy James," shut up). I think Sheila would be awesome if she cooled down and realized it doesn't mean you have to have sex wth him, just play the game with him like an alliance. This isn't a dating show. And Matt's lewd comments about all the women (even the Cougar!) were kinda funny, in a total sleazebag kinda way. Parker and Allison are damn lucky, because they don't even realize they have a guaranteed alliance with each other thanks to the couple.

I AM FROM OHIO AND THINK ITS AWESOME THAT TWO PEOPLE ARE FROM OHIO!! LOVIN JEN AND RYAN.. I THINK ITS CRAP THEY AREN'T TOGETHER ON THERE BUT YOU PUT THE EX'S TOGETHER. AS FAR AS SHEILA GOES... WHY WOULD YOU NOT OF INVITED AN OLDER MAN... SETTING HER UP WITH THAT OTHER GUY WHO IS NOT A BIT ATRACTIVE. DEF... ON JEN AND RYANS SIDE BUT ITS TO BAD THEY AREN'T TOGETHER. WE HAVE WATCHED EVERY SEASON OF THIS SHOW AND HAVE TO SAY AM A BIT CONCERNED THEY ARE RUNNING OUT OF IDEAS AND THIS WAS OUT OF DESPERATION... WHATS NEXT.. MARRIED PEOPLE.

I think Amanda looks an AWEFUL lot like Janelle!!! yep!!!! look at her...it's either Jedi Jani with her NATURAL hair coloror her little sister....has to be...look at that nose....and the manerizms....
