I sincerely believe that Dick was attracted to Jen in the beginning and that there is sexual tension even now. I can't believe that anyone would justify the vile attacks he laid on her because she made a comment in the beginning of the show. He continues to attack even after the show is long over. I think it is completely unacceptable. The abuser mentality of, "they started it", "they deserved it", or "she asked for it" is pathetic. Why is it 'game play' when Dick flies off the handle as he did but it is disrespectful or over the top when Jen makes a comment? Let's call abuse what it is and stop making excuses. he was way out of line and I hope Jen takes legal action.

I can't believe that even after winning so much money you can't even be a little gracious and either apologize for what you did or just drop the matter entirely. Dick, please die and go to hell as quickly as possible. We are sick of you!

Ladytex, I'm sorry you were disappointed in BB this season. I personally thought is was the best yet. I loved the Nick and Dani romance but hated Eric/Jess. I loved the AP twist but hated Eric's "I know better than America" attitude. He still believes Dick only won because of him, what a crock, wasn't he playing for us. But even with the parts I didn't like I think it was a great season and I am counting the days until the next one. But Ladytex after reading this article I think it may be time for you to give up reporting on BB in the future.

I hated Big Brother 8. The interference of Eric made the show a sham. People who had no vested intrest in the show were able to manipulate the show. And as for Dick, the show could have been fun without him. I refused to watch the last two episodes after learning it was one of the Donato's who would win.

I have loved BB since season 2 and this one was one of the best in my opinion. I did not care for the way Dick talked to and about the other houseguests but do believe in the end he and Danielle earned their way to the finals. I just couldn't believe that week after week they managed to vote out another houseguest and leave the two of them there - no matter what their relationship had been in the past they were first and foremost father/daughter and that is a really strong bond. They should have been separated early in the game to give the remaining houseguests a better chance. I am hoping that they work things out as father/daughter as that relationship is way more important than the money - this is coming from a daughter who was not able to be there in the end for her father due to a b**** of a stepmother.

Big Brother 8 disgusted me to no end. The comments made and the personal attacks were completely out of line. I didn't like Jen at all however the way she was treated by Dick was horrible and I agree with others that she should persue legal action against all parties involved. I did not like the America's Player twist but I actually liked the romance between Eric and Jess. Daniele disgusts me... a whiny, scrawny, brat is all I have to say about her. As soon as I realized one of the donato's was going to win... I stopped watching. I don't know how anyone can stand by and support the things that Dick said and did. He should burn in hell

Another thing LadyTex didn't mention was you never really got to see how well these players actually played because of the America's Player twist. For me, that ruined the season entirely--besides its vulgarity. I felt America had too much of a say in the BB house. Considering Americans are not getting paid for playing BB, most of them only care about entertainment value. So why wouldn't they want the Donatos to win. But is this fair for the other houseguests who are playing for the money, and some of the viewers (like myself) who actually want someone who played the game well to win it? I hope in the future BB gives America one vote for eviction--but that's it. We really don't need a representative to get someone nominated or change the votes. The houseguests felt when Jen was eating real food instead of slop, it ruined the "purity" of the game. As far as I'm concerned--so did the America's Player twist.

Assault??? With Ice Tea? Are you kidding me? Give me a break! Dick and many other called Jen out for being SELFISH and IGNORANT. I think everyone has blown this way out of proportion. Dick may have said a few things I didn't agree with, but he was always HONEST. I think some of you didn't like him cause he was different and not politically correct. Hello, isn't that what REALITY IS???????? And I will also add that all you who are complaining, let me ask, WHY did you watch then? YOU have the choice to use that remote and change stations. The fact is you tuned in to see what would happen. Enough with the bashing. Cause you know what....for all you people who didn't like Dick, aren't you doing what you complained he did????????? Think about it?

The assault by Ice Tea may be one thing, but what Dick said to Jen was sexual harassment of the worst kind and Big Brother did nothing about it, even when she asked them to. Dick's actions were allowed and most likely encouraged. Businesses often have to settle million dollar law suits because they did nothing about harassment, even when it was brought to their attention.
