Big Brother 8: Finale Recap

Dick Donato has won Big Brother 8. It's over. Everyone who hates Dick and his methods can't be too pleased with the final result this evening. You have to admit, be it grudgingly or not, that it worked. Everything Daniele and Dick did have suddenly become worth it because they are both significantly wealthier now than when they walked in the Big Brother house. Tonight's episode was enjoyable, as far as finales go, if only because we got to watch the jury members' and the Donatos' reactions to Eric revealing himself as America's Player. In the live studio audience tonight were former players Janelle, Kaysar, Chicken George and Howie, if that does anything for you. This is how it all went down.

Gee, a Donato won... It is nice that you included a statement about how mean Jen was to Dick and Dani. I certainly hope she didn't hurt their feelings. Lord knows, they didn't do anything to her. Right, Oscar?

Dick rocks. I hope he kicks erics ass when he sees him again. Dick gave them all what they deserve. Even Michel Jordan talked smack, all game players chat. Dick was just the best.

I dunno, but I have a feeling ED will be the first house guest to be physically assaulted once he gets back out in the open. A very disappointing season.

So what's the moral of the story BB8 is telling us? That being a horribly abusive a**hole like Dick should be rewarded? They (CBS) let a bully go threatening and intimidating people for the whole season, and did nothing but encourage it. BB should be cancelled forever.

I think the best people won, they were all playing the game.Back-stabbing, Forming alliances,all trying to get the big prize. The Danotos were just the best at it. I've never seen so much eye rolling from the jury. Jen and Jessica were so jealous of Dani because she is so hot. They were going on about how they are so evil, give me a break.

The happiest part of the show was the reunion of father and daughter. However, with Dick planning a world tour with his winnings, won't the reconnection suffer? After all Daniele's anger was due to his tendency to be an "absent" parent? Ask if he plans to share some of his travels with his daughter in order to maintain their relationship.
I think Daniele was sure she would win the big prize. I would have voted for Dick if only to test their new found relationship and with Dick's plans to travel the world, it would have been justified.

The best of the worst people in the game won. You got it right there. And Daniele is an ugly person on the inside.
After all her father tried to do to help her she will never appreciate it and they probably will never have a long lasting reunion. Daniele is a self-centered brat. Give us all a break and stop defending crap!

The season was dull though Dick was fun to hate and occasionally, pretty funny. Jess was a lot of fun and hotter than Daniele who had to be the biggest complainer I've ever seen and that's DEFINITELY a turn off. Hope CBS doesn't manipulate the game next season to the same extent. They've turned it more into a "reality" tv movie of the week than a game.
