Big Brother 8: Episode 31 Recap - Dick Wins HoH, Evicts Zach

Game over. They did it. The Donatos did it. If our BuddyTV user comments are any indication, most Big Brother fans are devastated by tonight's result. The Donatos are hated, despised, and constantly railed upon in the Big Brother online world. There are complaints of cheating, some fans have wanted Dick banished from the game for his “tactics”. Daniele has been called a vapid whiner. I'm sorry, everyone. The Donatos just shoved it in your face. What they did worked. There was some luck involved, of course, but there's going to be some luck involved with any Big Brother champion. The fact is, the Donatos, with a target on their back from day one, vanquished the competition in a decided fashion. Tonight's show was, essentially, the finale. I don't know what they're going to show on Sunday's episode, but whatever it is, you can assume it'll be boring. Anyway, here's how tonight's episode got us to where we are now.

I question the integrity of CBS. Why would they put "America's Player" in the house and prtend like all of the decisions of the american public favored keeping Dick and Danielle in the house. This season sucked so hard. I won't watch the finale or watch BB ever again.It was so rigged and studpid. I hate Jess for being so dumb.

I agree with anonymous. This was one of the worse shows I have watched to be exact I quite watching it and every so often went to Buddy TV to see what happened and it was just as I expected. Daniele was a good player but she was just as much a phony as the rest pretending to like someone one minute and cut them down the next. Like father like daughter. CBS has a lot of explaining to do before they put on another BB show. LET AMERICA HAVE A VOTE SINCE WE PARTICIPATED IN THE GAME.

I LOVED it...for me this show has never been about who is likable and who appears to be moralistic, it is about who is most interesting and who plays the game best. That, without a doubt, was Dick. Zach the Brainiac hit the nail on the head, Dick was a drill sergent...and he stripped all of the players down, 1 by 1, until there was no one and nothing left. Zach was a joke...not half the player that Dick was. And to the people above me, get over it...CBS only has to explain things to their shareholders, about the great response the show received and the raise on commercial revenue they can ask for for next season...

This was by far one of the most entertaining seasons EVER! I am so happy for the Donatos. They had the odds stacked against them from day one! There has never been a pair of family members (not the twins, not Nakomis and Cowboy) who advanced far together in the game...They beat the odds and came out on top. There are no set rules about having to be nice or playing the game a certain way. It's about strategy and luck. Way to go Donatos! Game well played...can't wait to see how CBS tops themselves next season.

I never watched Big Bro before this year because it was boring. This year was great with Evil Dick and the situation between them. Face it, Dick and Danielle were like the rest of the two faced houseguests- BUT they won. The other houseguests should quit whining-they would lie,cheat and steal to be where the Donatos are. In addition D&D overcame a lot more than anyone else. I think it's great that they won! Eyegirl

The whole BB season was sickening to watch. I hope the money donutos win goes down the drain and DD can go back living the trailer trash life they had.

Dick and Daniele have been my favorite from the beginning. In a way this season reminded me of season 6 with the Sovereign Six and the Nerd Herd, except this time the Sovereign Six comes out on top. Daniele reminded me a lot during the season of Janelle, and I'm happy that one of my favorite characters finally makes it to the end.

If you think about it, if Zach, Dustin, Amber, or Jameka won, it wouldn't be that great. Like in season 6 and 7 the best players didn't make it to the end. (6 = Janelle, 7 = Will and Janelle) Granted the four person alliance with Eric and Jess was great, but they failed to capatalize on the moments to take power from the Donatos. The Donatos would have been wiped out when if Dustin was not had not been evicted.
