We all know the show was rigged. The whole America's Player thing was just CBS's way of controlling the game. Do you really think they tallied up your votes? They made Eric do whatever they wanted him to do to ensure the Donatos win. They even gave him money to do it...who else do you think they bought off? It's television, so should we have expected anything else?

Pretty contradictory of you Anonymous 9/14/2007 10:28:13...1st you say that "most people are feeling pretty sick about tonight's events" but yet you say America's Vote played a part in saving them (remember over 70% of voters chose to have Eric evict Amber so I suspect given other ratings on CBS polls EVEN IF Zach would have been replaced w/ either Donato, Amber [whose rating NEVER got above 5.1% approval] STILL would have been voted against by A.P. voters)...so I would venture to guess that America LIKES the final two results...now which one America will vote the top prize to is up in the air BUT it WILL BE A DONATO! BTW, WHO KNOWS if Eric would have been in the house as long as he was if it weren't for him being A.P...I suspect he wasn't much of a game player since he even admitted that his strategy, if he hadn't been selected as A.P., would have been to.lay-low. And Eric was NOT obligated by A.P. voting to NOT use the veto on Zach. And that vote was the ONLY time either D got even c

And that vote was the ONLY time either D got even close to being evicted. Their success was MOSTLY comp wins combined & deal making. Also, remember during the whole game Dick only got a total of 3 votes against him during his 2 times on the block. Also, you nor anybody else, including Eric b/c it's a "what-if" scenerio, knows if Eric would have used the veto or if he would have voted out Amber if he hadn't used it...BUT REMEMBER EVEN BEFORE he got the vote notice to try & get Amber on the block that week he was in DR telling us he was tired of Amber & didn't trust her AND wanted her to go. So your little (yepper, little) "what-if there wasn't an A.P." scenerio can't be proved. Also, don't forget Dick had the MOST HoHs of anybody & Dani had 2 which = 5 HoHs btwn the 2 of them out of 12. And remember Dick didn't get to compete in the 1st one. D&D have also pointed out in several of their one on one talks that there were times they may have gotten lucky as where Zach didn't until he was o

...as where Zach didn't until he was out.

BTW, Dick may not have been "really in control of the game" but Zach MOST CERTAINLY & ASSUREDLY & DEFIANTLY WAS NOT. And don't forget that individually each Donato did win more comps (Dick most HoHs & Dani most POVs than anybody else individually.

AND...I'll take a someone who is NOT a 100% hypocrite over someone that IS a 100% hypocrite...meaning Jameka, Amber & Kail.

Remember that the BB7 ppl didn't get rid of the two they should have either AND they should have known better even more than these BB8 ppl b/c of BB7 ppl knowing about those two from BB6...so does that mean BB7 was "rigged" too? In one Survivor example ppl knew they should have gotten rid of Amber & Rob but the dummies didn't...so was that rigged too? P-L-E-A-S-E. I couldn't stand A&R but I never complained/made an accusation that it was fixed...I sucked it up & moved on.

Anonymous 9/14/2007 1:37:45 Eric is fooling himself if he really thinks that...even if D&D weren't in the house & he weren't A.P. he wouldn't, IMHO, have won...and once again that's a "what-if" scenario that can't be proved either way. Remember, Eric shouldn't complain too much...he is going to be the 3rd highest winner w/ $40,000 A.P. bucks & there is a high degree of possibility that if he hadn't been A.P. he wouldn't have anything other than his stipend. As I said earlier, remember BB7. Do you really think that CBS fixed it so a person w/ a decent amt of personal worth pre-BB would win? I highly doubt it. But I do agree w/ you & some others in that Dani is a spoiled brat & she has even admitted it in her HoH logs...the spoiled part at least.

9/14/2007 7:35:55 AM Dick poorly played? Reference his most HoH wins & the deals he got ppl to make.

9/14/2007 8:14:16 AM CBS has lawyers you know & they will have to keep records/logs of the voting for legal reasons. It's one thing to send in a ringer (which I don't believe they did with either D) but to lie about vote logs that can be checked---Nope. They already saw the headache the other network got from Dancing With The Stars when the just had computer voting glitches. Leave the "fixing" accusations to American Idol.

LadyTex rules! This column beautiful illustrates the many reasons why the Donatos did not play the best game, but instead had the help of America, the producers, and Allison Grodner. Honestly, people would not hate them so much is the Donatos were just a tad humble rather than constantly going on about how "we did it." Yes, they won, but it was not all them, as they'd like to believe. In theory the AP reveal Tuesday should clue them in that the only reason Eric didn't evict them and made a deal with them was because of this stupid thing and had nothing to do with the way they manipulated him. Of course, it won't, and they'll just say, "See, America loved us. We're the best ever!"
