Beauty and the GeekWhat's the difference between a Taylor series and Beauty and the Geek? Beauty and the Geek is a finite series. Geddit? Geddit?

With only four teams left in the game on Beauty and the Geek, this fifth season is scheduled to conclude on Tuesday, May 13. However, this episode will likely turn out to be the series finale. Sources close to the show's production staff confirm that the CW bigwigs have decided not to renew Beauty and the Geek for a sixth season.

CW executives say that they may reconsider bringing the show back if the producers can come up with a unique twist on the show's geeky guys/beautiful girls format. One possibility that they have discussed is incorporating an age-related element to the show

I used to like the show, but then they started adding all these stupid twists (sam/nicole, girls vs. boys) that just made me dislike the show so much more. I stopped watching after the second episode this season, and just by reading the recaps, it looks like i made a good choice. they didn't cast very likable or memorable people this year... especially stupid fake geek tommy. ugh!

Hi Debbie. You said you got to interview everyone but I can't find your interview with Jim and Tiffany. Are you still attempting to interview Amber? I appreciate your writing, and btw quantum field theory is super geeky: only a geek would spend so much time on regularization and renormalization and Clifford algebra exercises and all that math just to handle loops and get a more correct answer of 2.002 instead of 2

Aw the only worthwhile "reality" show, I'll definitely miss it but to be honest I saw it coming ever since Season 4 kicked off with Sam and Nicole so I can't say I'm really surprised. I was surprised that there was even a Season 5. The CW has been managing the show absolutely horribly, not only did it start with the horrible Versus concept (which made it lose tons of viewers) but they pitted it against American Idol (although in my opinion American Idol doesn't even compare to BATG but apparently all of America disagrees with me). And the last thing this show needs is more twists!! Are the executives daft or something? It's all their stupid twists that killed the show in the first place!

I thought the addition of Sam / Nicole last season was a good thing last year and they should have done more of that this year. I haven't seen any of this year's shows mostly because I missed the first couple of episodes and heard how bad they were and nothing has interested me to go back and watch.

I don't really care too much about reality shows, but this was one of the few that my friends thought was funny? The new one ''Farmer Want's A WIFE ???....SOUNDS LIKE SOMETHING YOU WOULD SEE ON XTUBE. The CW axing this series and throwing all their money into a nobody really gives a chit about Gossip Girl and Dawn Ostroff, proves again to me the the CW lives in a cloudy , and dusty BUBBLE that seems ready to burst. The WB needs to come back and take control fast...very fast.

This is a show I didn't watch much, but when I did it was surprisingly good. Actually had a heart.
