| Last week on Battlestar Galactica, Starbuck drove her crew nuts with her aimless search for Earth, but she at least got a good frakking during the journey. Lee (Jamie Bamber) took some advice from Tom Zarek (Richard Hatch) and decided to stand up to Roslin, which may not work out as well as he hoped. In the biggest shocker of the episode, Tory sent Cally straight out the airlock after she discovered the secret of the Galactica Cylons. On tonight's installment, "Escape Velocity," Chief Tyrol reacts strangely to Cally's death, and Baltar discovers that not everyone wants him to become a messianic cult leader. | This was a great episode and there is so much going on that it is interesting as to who is going to mess up first. Which new Cylon is going to let it slip that they are Skin Cylons? I believe Troy is acting more like a Cylon every time we see her and she may make it clear that she is no longer human. Is she is trying to find out about the last Cylon from Baltar or is she just wanting to have fun and torture him? Can't wait to see who the last Cylon is. |

Racetrack and Skulls are not "random nuggets". They are both experienced Raptor pilots. Skulls is Racetrack's ECO and has been seen in several episodes. Among other plotlines, they are the ones who stumbled upon New Caprica. Racetrack is also a Raptor instructor. Anyway... I 'm not sure how I feel about this episode yet. I do feel a little disappointed though. Maybe another viewing will help.

Hmm, I'm already growing tired of this religious stuff. If I wanted hat, I'd try to watch John from Cincinnati again. I get that the religion is probably gonna pay off in the end, but it's all a bit out of character for the show, to me. Also, after seeing the awesome Cylon Civil War, I want more of that. Also, can anyone explain why they showed that quick shot of the Demetrius at the end? That made no sense to me. Other than that, Mary McDonnell OWNED this episode for me. I hope she finally gets some Emmy love this year.

Sorry akimbo, but the only nugget I can tell apart is Hot Dog. I find the religious stuff pretty fascinating, but I don't know why they showed the Demetrius at the end either. Overall I liked this episode more than I expected to, considering that I'm not a big fan of Jane Espenson's episodes.

I still say that the final Cylon is Laura Roslin! I'm going by D'Anna 's reaction when she was in the temple. I've allso recently aquired "Razor" and the hyrid talks aout the final five and the four who will realize what they are. I can't wait for D'anna to come back and straighten things out. I still can't beleive that they killed off Cally!

Can anyone tell me why in the hell Baltar is such a ladies man? I mean there is no kind of attraction to him. He's a wimp and is constanting whining about something. I want to see Starbuck's reaction when she finds out her husband is a cylon. She is going to kick his ass!!!

I think Edward James Olmos direction was great and was perfect for this Espenson written episode. Great character development and a great set up regarding what is to come. Demetrius was shown as a literally device regarding Baltar's speech and what it could mean in the cotext of Kara's struggle. I think it was a good choice and a nice way to let you know next episode will be Demetrius centric....
