Maybe if you were mature enough to pull your head out of your @ss you would see that.
A bit contradictory don't ya think? For someone who "doesn't care" or isn"t "emotional" you sure are emotional and hang on every post that I make critisizing the show. I think you care a lot. Maybe if the GINO wasn't sucking azz in the ratings, you wouldn't care so much about me bringing the truth about GINO, to counter the B.S. SciFi Channel press releases, to light in a public forum.

Oh, please, oh, please, show me and everyone reading this thread how much "you don't care" by replying with another emotionally-packed post, complete with profanity and harsh language.

It's not contradictory at all. I wasn't the one who put the emotion into the words...you are. You simply assumed what I was or wasn't feeling when I typed them. I find these forums amusing to say the least. It's funny how worked up people get over just typed words.
As I said earlier, I truly do not care if the ratings are low. Even if I were the only person on the planet who was watching BSG I wouldn't care. I get enjoyment out of the show....it's as simple as that. So the fact that you do not like it and are harboring this deep resentment over something you can't do anything about does not bother me.
I also find it interesting how you edited my quote in your post. You took only what you wanted to hear and used it. So doing that really makes me call into question all of your recycled posts you've made, thus far. If you're going to quote someone at least quote them entirely so that the words are not taken out of context.

I'm guessing everyones seen the last episode of this half-series by now?

HOW ZOMG!!!EPICC!!!11 WAS THAT?

The 4th series has really gone up and down with a very weak middle, but this concluding episode was quite possibly one of the finest pieces of sci-fi storytelling I've ever seen. This surely redeems all of Moores shortcommings in over episodes, a true masterpiece.

Can't wait for the concluding half. Normally its fairly easy to guess where a story is going to go, but in this case I've got no idea at all. Anything could happen. Anything!

You don't care what I think and post about GINO, yet here you are, making a lame & desperate attempt to counter every single one of my posts, critisizing the show, as if you have stock invested in it. You're funnny. You claim one thing, but you're doing exactly the opposite. This is you running around, franticly, trying to counter every single one of my points, "not caring.."

Assume away. I'm done with you and your cheap semantics. I have little to no use for people like you. Have a nice life....if you could call it that.

I've only seen the first 3 episodes of season 4 thus far. I'll watch the rest of them when I get back from Iraq this fall. I cannot wait. Only 3 more months then I'm home free.

Oh, I'm sure you'll be back, even if you have to create a new screenname in a lame attempt to look like you're someone else. Why? ...because you care... you care a LOT. Upon your exit, I shal play this song:

Quote:
I get so emotional, baby
Every time I think of you
I get so emotional, baby

Ain't it shocking what G.I.N.O. can do
Ain't it shocking what G.I.N.O. can do

I gotta watch you walk on the board, baby
I gotta watch you walk out
I like the animal way you move
And when you type I just watch your posts

Smile Why I like The New Battlestar Galactica

I've been a devoted fan of the new BSG ever since the mini-series aired about 5 years ago.
I grew up with the 1978 version of BSG. And it was enjoyable for what it was when I was a child. But as an adult I found several things that I didn't enjoy anymore about the old BSG. The characters were one dimensional at best. The acting was very cheesy. The storylines were anything but believeable. The people in the story seemed oblivious to the fact that their world as they knew it had ended. And many of the special effects shots were recycled over and over again. And don't even get me started on the clothes and uniforms.
But fast forward to 2003 and the new BSG debuts on the Sci-Fi channel. I was captivated from the very start. Right away I found the new BSG very engaging inellectually and emotionally. The characters have real depth to them, much more so than other shows out there.
And while the basic story line is the same as the original BSG the details have been changed. There are no daggits, the women are very capable of taking care of themselves, and the characters are very human. There are no stops at the local casino planet, the characters don't run around making light of their grim situation. They have all been plummeted into a situation where life as they know it has ended and they are forced to deal with it. Something that the original BSG never even bothered to deal with.
The Galactica is charged with protecting a fleet of civilian ships that, for the most part, are unarmed and have no armor. 50,000 people are all thats left of their civilazation. And they are being chased by the Cylons.
The Cylons have been totally reworked in the new BSG as well. They are no longer lead by Baltar and that homo-bot Lucifer. The clumsy chrome toasters have been replaced by skin-jobs and new and improved centry units that can actually run. The new Cylons are much more of a threat than the old Cylons could ever be.
The story has so many twists and turns and is totally unpredictable. It's been one heck of a rollercoaster so far. And sad to say the show will end after the 4th season. But then again, RDM said that the show had a built in ending. But the show is on DVD and I will be watching them as often as I want to. I highly doubt that there will be another show that has what the new BSG has. It's been a great ride. I look forward to the rest of season 4!

...yeah, and hardly any ratings, as hardly anyone watches Galactica In Name Only. This bad remake sucks. Lol

Ususally in a show I like one character over all others. But when it comes to the new BSG I've liked all characters (some more than others and for different reasons) at one time or another.

Commander Adama: I think that Olmos is terriffic in this role. He has that look of an experienced and battle hardened soldier about him. When he gives an order he doesn't have to shout it out. He just simply says it and expects it to be carried out. His crew has deep respect for him and some of them tend to see him as a father figure. From the very start he was one of my favorite characters in the new BSG.

Argh! No more spoilers then!

Trust me though, it is well worth the wait. Olmos in particular has some truly fantastic moments in the last few episodes.
