It has to be a woman. There are known male cylons and 4 known female. I'm torn between Ellen Tigh and Admiral Cain, both are "dead" and could easily be brought back under the guise of a flashback and we'd be none the wiser.

Tell ya what.

Watch the miniseries again and do so with the knowledge that Laura Roslin is a Cylon. It, and the first season make a lot more sense now.

I think Geta is the final Cylon! Through his actions throughout the series and his position in the fleet. CIC? Who else would be the perfect cylon plant in a position of power? It is hard to see anyone else being a cylon on the ship but him. Secretly sending the cylon's the direction they are going, changing star maps to make Starbuck think the road to earth is nothing but an empty void of rocks? Remember, he was sending secret information on New Cap. who are now revealed as part of the final 5...
Also in season 1 Geta said he detected and prevented a cylon virus from being downloaded onto the ship... Did he really, or did he allow the virus to pass through and say nothing. I dont know about you all... but I think Geta is a toaster! LOL

Anyhow, I think the final 4 will unbox D'anna somehow through Baltar's information. Maybe by one or more of the final 4 will be willing enough to die, transport over to unbox her in some sort of covert mission. D'anna knows who the final Cylon is!

What I want to know is will Galen kill his wife or leave it to Tory to do the dirty work? (to Keep the second "cylon hybrid baby" a secret...) Speaking of which, does anyone think the Cylon's plan is to get the two Cylon hybrid babies to earth, kind of like an Adam and Eve senario? Just a thought... Since the running theme has been with zodiac signs, greek Gods and a 1 true God. Would they go with an "Adam and Eve" plot to intergrate the cyon hybrids into humanity then kill the rest for closure? The base ship cylons said "things have changed" are they talking about their master plan?

Thoughts? Comments? Its all good! Im sticking to my theroy! Hope I'm right. If not, dont scream at me! LOL

My money is on Laura Roslin. Star buck is the actual "leader" who will find earth, and if you think about it, she died when she found earth!!

I think Starbuck found earth, but she didnt die. Rewatch the episode (season 3 finale) and slow motion about 10 seconds before Starbucks ship explodes. You will see (from Apollo's view) another "mystery ship" come into view and swoop in front of Starbucks flyer, then the explosion happens. Her ship did explode, but without her in it. This explains why the flyer she came back with was brand new. (this is a theory... not fact, so you still might be right...)

My reasoning? Im following the original series plot with the SHIP OF LIGHTS... The new BSG has not yet tapped into this to much, but you did get to see the SHIP OF LIGHTS for a few seconds through Apollo's s view in the season 3 finale as well. He saw something in the clouds that looked like a huge starbase or something, but again it was dismissed and not played out yet.

So did Starbuck die? I cant rule out what you said, but again this is my theory. Geta is still my choice for the 5th unknown cylon!

All right - that's just creepy...but it works. I still think Zarek...just because it would cause so much MORE damage to the TOS fans and Eick/Moore have been doing their best to wipe that out anyway

Zarek? Hmm... You know I thought that too, but the way they have been revealing the final 5, I cant see why they would put 2 cylon models close to the presidents cabinet. Each cylon model has been placed in power positions throughout the ship(s). Have you considered Admiral Cain from the Pegasis? I will tell you this, it is exiting to have such an awsome show that makes us all think for a change!!!!

My money is on Helo. He's a major character on the show from the begining. Total surprise consistent with BSG style. That's why the cylons are so interested in his and Boomer's baby. They can breed. What do you guys think?

For all you die hard spoiler junkies, the final cylon has only been mentioned once in the comments. It's not what I think, It's fact. I've read the script. But, when I found out, it ruined the ending. I'm being cryptic so those who want to know must work for it.
