I went back and looked to see if there was a red light flashing in her eyes and there totally and I'm bummed I didn't notice it the first time. You can see it at about 34 mins into the episode and it's visible as two faint pulses reflected in the whites of her eyes. It's too obvious I think to be lighting error and I think is intentionally placed.

Another season has passed. Humbly, here's my current BSG Theory - Earth has recalled the colonies. Despite the casulties to the colonists, an artifcial intelligence (super-mind ala Vinge's Singularity mixed with parts of Asimov's conclussion to the Foundation Series - ie. turned out that one of the original robots from earth was controlling the galaxy all along) has manipulated the cylons and some humans (Starbuck, President, Baltar) to make this happen. Considering the scope of the emergency, the losses in life are exceptable. Cylons, humans and earth (20-35 years from now) will unite to defeat an unknown apocolyptic alien enemy (who would have eventually defeated the colonists, too). What I don't know is how the cylon/human hybrid child fits into this. It's only a theory, I hope I'm wrong and have to write a new theory at the end (or the beginning) of next season. Long live the new BSG. (Loved the "Along along the watchtower" song crossover - very creative)
