| In a move that is sure to excite hordes of fans, Battlestar Galactica is switching time slots, moving from Friday nights to Sundays at 10PM ET/PT starting on January 21st. I never understood why the Sci-Fi channel would air its signature program on the normally dead TV day of Friday, so this feels like a switch long in the making. Now, with Battlestar Galactica on Sundays, maybe NBC/Universal can get a good read on how well it performs against real competition. | Personally I think that Sci-Fi is determined to screw up Battlestar in a move as stupid as when they cancelled Stargate SG-1. Sunday night isn't a good move for the show and especially at 10pm! Some people have jobs and school to get ready for on Mondays! |

| Seems like a great move, to me. Too many people in the show's prime demographic like going out on Friday nights. And even if they'd rather stay home and watch the show, there's always the chance that less enlightened friends or relatives might schedule some important event for that evening. Sunday night's dead BECAUSE people need to get up in the morning -- going to bed at 11, even if you have to get up at 7 a.m., doesn't seem so terrible, all things considered. |

| Member | I think it's a dumb move. People do get up early, but we'll see. As we record it and watch it when we want, it won't matter to us... unless Sci-Fi cancels it. They've screwed up before; "Farscape" comes to mind. |
