The Bachelor 12: Matt and Shayne's Conference Call

On last night's season finale of The Bachelor, Matt Grant got down on one knee and proposed to Shayne Lamas. He presented her with a Tacori platinum and diamond ring, valued at $60,000. Minutes earlier, he said goodbye to Chelsea Wanstrath, after telling her that he could not picture a life with her. Chelsea kept it together, for the most part, but took a shot at Shayne before she left, calling her "the fakest person in the house". Matt had already made up his mind, though, and popped the question to a very happy Shayne. Today, the happy couple participated in a conference call, filling in the press about where they're going to live, how they dealt with watching everything on television, and beating the odds as a couple!

i seriously don't see what matt sees in shayne, except for her bleached blond hair and childish attiture. arghhhh!!! she annoys me everytime she opens her mouth.

i honestly think amanda is the perfect marriage material for matt if he is really looking for long-term. but i guess he's not and more attractted to that hollywood baby. arghhhhhhhh!!!

I think that Matt ditched the best "marrying" candidates earlier in the show- like Holly, Noelle & Amanda. Shayne irritates me with her clinginess or "monkey" as Matt calls it. The way she was always curled up like a fetus or hanging on him like a child makes me think she might have some "daddy issues". I guess time will tell.

Ladies, Ladies, stop hating on Shane. She's beautiful, funny and the camera LOVES her. Hey, someone has to be fabulous. The chemistry between Shane and Matt was electric and it kept me glued to my TIVO. I hope it lasts forever and please Shane and Matt, invite us to the wedding. A toast, to Shane and Matt -

Duh..... Matt loves Shane's clinging and cuddly ways.... every man likes to be Daddy to his woman.... oh, you witches didn't know? You had to be Stevie Wonder not to see after Shane's 1 on 1 date with Matt that the show was over, the man was bewitched. Shane, you go girl, love, love, love your style.

I really like Shayne, as immature as she can be. She can be really sweet and sincere, too. I like them as a couple and hope they have a lotta fun. I liked Chelsea's dress way better, tho - she looked Incredible.
