I never liked Chelsea, I do think Shayne is real, as real as she can be for 22yrs old. They genuinely have a great connection. I also heard a radio interview a couple of weeks ago where they were on a cruise in the carribean. (I guess you can break the rules of not seeing each other if you do it outside of the United States). He sounded like he was really in love with her. I agree with Traceystout2, They do remind me of Trista and Ryan.

Just felt like I had to respond: Chelsea definitely showed her true colors. Of course, she was very hurt and realizing that she wouldn't have the future with Matt that she had hoped for, but her exit was caddy and showed her lack of class. The fact is (from my opinion), that Shayne was not only geniune, but she was a great fit for Matt. If you look back at scenes throughout the show, Shayne is typically fair and open with the other girls. I find her incredibly grounded, especially given the lifestyle that she has experienced. She has a lot of depth to her, that if you can get past her blonde hair and great looks, you'd see. Matt obviously did see the deeper, real sides of Shayne and that's why she got the final rose. Matt and Shayne are just great together...not to mention cute. (Gotta love the Monkey affections!!)

I knew it was Shayne from the shot of her hand in the teasers. I thought Meeps was the prettiest of the final 3. Shayne was kind of funny like when she admitted she's high maintenance and when she brought all her makeup out skiing. Chelsea didn't need to take that pot shot at Shayne. All in all, this was a decent season with some classic 'types' kept deep into the game like Robin the competitor, Noelle the sweet country girl, and volatile but still likeable Marshana. I'll call it a good season along with Bachelor 10 with 11 and 9 being relative duds.

I have only watched the last two seasons of the bachelor. I watched it this year because Matt is from the U.K.
I met my husband on the internet and he was from England as well. I love going to England and hope to relocate there soon. The British are real conservative and proper people. I thought Shayne was as fake as they come. I believe she was on the show to get noticed. I would love to see Matt's parents face when they met Shayne's mother. If Matt wanted to know what Shayne was going to look like when she is older he only had to take one look at her mother. To me it looked like a bad case of plastic surgery gone wrong. What the hell was he thinking? It wont last with Shayne because this girl is not bright and she is high maintenance. Even the way this girl talks sounds like bad acting. Matt will get his heart broke.
