Their story certainly captured the attention of many viewers of The Bachelor: An Officer and a Gentleman, and fans of Andy Baldwin and Tessa Horst have been eager for updates on the two since the show ended.

Those fans will no doubt be disappointed to hear the news that yes, it's official: Andy and Tessa have called off their engagement.

However, while this is rarely a positive sign for any relationship, the two are not ruling out the possibility of a future together.

I thought this might happen. I wasn't convinced that Tessa was totally into it.

I liked tessa, but never thought she really was there for the right reasons.

Tessa was the most level headed and normal of them all - so I am encouraged that they are not being swept up by the media to jump into a marriage until they are ready.

I think that they are very wise to stay apart, for a short time. Things were so rushed, they have to sort out their own decisions, and Tessa stay in San Francisco for the time being. Andy's Naval Job could call for change in the near future, and they are wise to take their own time. I notice, that it said "They are still very much in Love". That is a positive, and they probably will get together later on. Thanks for the update.

Hopefully these two will be able to find some peace and happiness away from the press. Not easy being in love and working on a relationship ordinarily, but being followed by the press all the time, can't be easy at all. I wish the best to both of them and hope they find true love even if it means someone other than each other.

They are probably feeling alot of pressure being engaged and now that it is no longer an issue, they can continue to learn about one another without the pressure of marriage.
