Andy-TessaThis week’s post-finale episode of The Bachelor: An Officer and a Gentleman, took care to note that the engagement of Tessa Horst and Andy Baldwin was yet another success for The Bachelor series, like Bryon Velvick and Mary Delgado from Season Six, Sarah Brice and Charlie O’Connell from Season Seven, and Trista and Ryan Sutter from The Bachelorette.

But it’s a little early to be calling the couple a success, since they have only been able to be a public couple for less than a week now. The question is: will they last?

Thanks, RR! Yes, Irene Gallagos was his first wife. Thanks for catching the error and we have corrected it.

I think Andy and Tessa have the ingredients of true love..I understand Tessa's earlier apprehension in telling someone the "I love you" that can change your whole life when you weren't looking or expecting it. She was never moved by another man to let down her guard and show how vulnerable her true self was..Her real
self is confident but Andy's love changed her and she was willing to put her future in his hands..I have lived her story and have parallels in my love and life and I'm happy to say that my husband and I are still giddy in love after 23 years..Tessa's heart and mind wants Andy and she has shown herself to be deep in feelings and cerebral in thought..They are a match and will make it..my 23 years in love can prove it..but it does boil down to how they will handle the obstacles.
Congrats to Andy and Tessa and may your true love prevail.

I truly hope that Andy and Tessa will make it. They look so good together and genually seem to want to be with each other. I believe it will be hard for her to live in Hawaii so far from her family. If she goes home approx 3 times a year for a couple of weeks it will help. Good luck to both

I have always been a romantic at heart and know from experience that it still takes committment and work to keep a relationship strong. I think Tessa & Andy have what it takes to do so and am looking forward to hear them set a date. I have been married to a man for 20 years and I will be with him forever. We both agreed to make it work no matter what and never give up, because we made a committment to one another in a very special place and I know Andy & Tessa will never regret it, if they feel what I saw on the show. Congratulations to the two of them and their future.

I don't think any of the women on the bachelor were drop dead gorgeous...even cute. Bevin was a cry baby from the beginning, i.e. crying when Andy was with someone else, etc. She surely was man hungry. As for Tessa, I don't think she is as innocent as she looks and her looks are not great. Her face is much too fat for the rest of her body, her hair is stringy and needs to be styled and her eyes are drab.
She needs a makeover.
Andy only chose her because she gave him a hard time.."give them a hard time and they love it", fall all over them and they ditch you. He wanted what he thought he couldn't have and if he was such a good catch, why couldn't he find a woman on his own? He must have been quite desperate to go on TV looking for a wife. I don't think because he chose her that they should have gotten engaged so soon...they didn't know each other that long. Now she's living with him....great morals for a goodie, goodie. Plus the fact that all those women drank too much. I didn'

I am so very happy for Tessa and Andy. I pray their love will continue to blossom and all that they wish for in their life together will
come true. I chose Tessa from the beginning because of her beautiful smile and staying true
to herself and in the end her and Andy's heart connected and they found Love!!! Way to go Tessa and Andy!

I haven't watched the Bachelor for many seasons now but I truly enjoyed this one. Every Monday night my four daughters would gather and watch the show. All of us wanted Tessa to win. She was real from the beginning. Tessa stayed away from the back stabbing that went on in the house. Andy was such a gentleman. His comments to Bevin as to why he did not pick her were so kind. He was the best bachelor thus far.

Tessa is a woman of substance and Andy did a great job of weeding out all those other women. For a while there I didn't trust his instincts but he proved to be more insightful than I thought at first. In the end I was proud of him for also staying true to himself. He saw that Tessa had the most potential and he persued her. BRAVO !
