One Bachelor Success Story

Trista-Ryan With the finale for this season of The Bachelor: An Officer and a Gentleman coming soon (the last episode will air May 21st), there continues to be a lot of chatter around the track record of the show. So far, the program hasn't exactly been a rousing success when it comes to finding lasting love for its Bachelors. Weird, isn't it? You would think it would be easier to find your soulmate from a group hand-picked by a television network for the purpose of creating entertaining television.

Trista Rehn - now Sutter - might not have any lasting romantic success herself during her time on The Bachelor. But her popularity on that show led to her landing her own series - The Bachelorette - where she met Ryan Sutter. The two married in a lavish (televised, of course) ceremony in December of 2003, and seem to continue to be going strong, announcing a new happy development in recent months.

I think Andys is very nice but I do not think any of the girls are right for him. Tessa is tooo hesitant to go after what she wants so I figure she does not want him.
The artifical atmosphere of wealth that surrounds the show is a put off to getting real and romantic with a stranger in the show format. I would rather see the Males as the bachelor in a different forrmat and nvironment without all the hollywood trappings and less women to choose so that a real connection can be made on the show not the artifical one that is being presented where the girls reveal themselves and the guy thtough the show is a fake with wealthy trappings it is ruining the real chances for love and happiness and that is why the show is a failure..

when i watched Trista I wasn't sure who she would pick......don't you think that Andy always new he wanted tessa and the editting just made it look otherwise.

I reason WHY TRISTA AND RYAN LASTED IS BECAUSE "TRISTAN" WAS THE ONE THAT PICKED!!!!! Women pick men for looooong term reasons!! the Bachelor men in the past pick with thier (ehem) short terms reason!! I am so happy that Andy thought past his lust and went for love. Great job on grandpa Baldwin who said " do you want something intense now that could fizzle out or something special that can grow stronger in time." Smart men those balwins. Go Andy and Tessa!!

Andy, I think you've been fooled. Tessa is not into you. She is just trying this on for size. The way she kisses you tells it all. This girl is not in love with you. She is using you. What's up with that? I know Bevin was not your choice, but this girl was really into you. I think you made a mistake. However good luck & I hope your heart doesn't get broken.

NJ, you are so right... it is such an unrealistic dating atmosphere... all the posh cars and perfectly planned dates... no wonder they get those warm fuzzy feelings and start professing undying love after knowing a guy for one week. There is too much flash and cameras and the people are getting caught up in all of that.
