Avatar: The Last Airbender: Season 3 Airing This Month

After two successful seasons of Avatar: The Last Airbender, Nickelodeon will serve its viewers with yet another run of the animated series. Fans will finally be able to catch the premiere of the highly anticipated season 3 on Friday, September 21 at 8:30pm.

Set in an Asian-influenced world of martial arts and elemental magic, Avatar: The Last Airbender is an Emmy Award-nominated animated series that follows the adventures of Aang, and his friends in their quest to save the world from the ruthless Fire Nation. According to Nielson, the series is ranked among the top 10 animated properties on commercial television and reaches a total of 18.4 million total viewers, including 8.9 million kids aged 2-11 and 5.8 million kids aged 6-11.

Avatar the last aribender is not just for childern I know alot of people over the age of 18 who like watching the show also. I for one being over the age of 18 enjoy watching it with my little brother and can not wait until sept. 21

I'm 13 and I love that show, it's probably one of my favorites on Nickelodeon! I can't wait for the premiere of Season 3!

its definitely not just a show for children. it has the heart, the drama, and the comedy to make it one the premier shows on television. The reason why its such an amazing show is that it has the ability to reach viewers on all levels, with humor and fighting geared toward children along with the themes, metaphors and story lines that sophisticated viewers can appreciate it. I LOVE IT! CANT WAIT FOR SEASON 3!

I must be getting a different Nickelodeon from everyone else. No sign of season 3 at 8:30 PM tonight!

BTW: 42 and love watching this with my (presently disappointed) kids.
