I'm kind of thinking that Faraday is more in league with Charles Widmore than they're letting on. Faraday has apparantly known Widmore for a long time, maybe maybe not even being his son. Widmore was paying for the care of his exgirlfriend/ time travel victim. Widmore knows his mother from the Dharma days presumably(Elle), and he was a member of Widmores Island cleansing crew. Now Faraday is back in a time where Widmore is presumably in some form of leadership role. Sawyer says Faraday is not with them anymore. So where is he? Could he be working with the Others now. He could have known that Widmore was on island during this time period and sought out his help in somehow preventing Charlottes death. Which is the pefect opening for Widmore to corrupt Faraday even more. What do you think? Another great episode, funny and informative

Yeah that was interesting how they just slipped in "oh he's not with us anymore" on the subject of Faraday. I think your right about Faraday moving in with the hostiles, it seems like that's the only place he could go. Except maybe he took the submarine off the island, but i doubt it.

I actually think you touched on it Sugar, Faraday left the Island. When Locke failed to show up quickly, and what he may believed was a failed attempt to get Desmond to contact mommy. Faraday could be taking it upon himself to set things right. Keep in mind, 3 tears is a long time to be stuck in a time that doesn't seem natural, based on where you popped in from. Just look at how perplexed Jack, Kate, Hurley and Sayid appear... No think how much more disconcerting it would be for someone that knows how wrong it is.

Somebody I know suggested that Faraday is JACOB We saw him in the tunnels when they discover the donkey wheel... He could have help develop the time traveling technology for Dharma and then used it to go back to the beginning of time or something... But if Whitmore meets Faraday in on the island in the 70's, it's likely that they develop a relationship that leads to Whitmore funding his research, sending him to the island, etc. I'm digging it!

He's doing something to try and save Charlotte. That's his only motivation. He can't change what's happened. She died and she will die again if he prevents it, like Charlie. The only thing he can do is try to find her the moment after the last flash occurred when she disappeared. If he can revive her with CPR, she will be alright because the flashes have stoped. The Orchid is his only hope of achieving this and is why we saw him involved in the construction. Crazy?

Well we know Faraday was around because he was there when they broke the drill. Maybe this is later, but there is every possibility he landed in a different time again, or is capable of travelling independently. I dont know about him going to get Charlotte back though, it was his rule, "what's happened has happened" Last edited by kellybee : 03-21-2009 at 05:31 AM. Reason: typo

| As I see it, there's a couple options for what happened to/where is Faraday.
