This should really set this place on FIRE!!!!

Anyone care to wager if Ben would have even gotten on Flight 316 without having killed Evil Penny first?????

I'm guessing, No Way!!! he would have stayed until such time as he fulfilled his promise to Charles Widmore.

So, now that Evil Penny is history.... Desmond will have no choice but to return to the Island...

Thus, insuring what Ms. Hawking told him. "the Island is not done with you Desmond"...

How perfect is that...

Island gets gets Desmond back, Desmond kills Ben, which the Island tried to do with a Tumor. Evil Penny is bumped off.

And Hawking... She knows all this in advance.... She knows EVERYTHING!!!

Simply perfection..... (smiles)

It makes sense that Hawkings is certain that Desmond will return to the island... if **** hit the fan back in the 70's... right in her own back yard (or hostile camp, whatever)... young Elle would hold memories of Desmond's return to the island... that which he has not yet experienced when they speak at the Lamp Post Station... thats awesome!
