| Some say Heroes, but I disagree, Lost is way better.

Just the whole 'ended up on an island by X means where wacky stuff is going on' is practically its own sub-genre of sci-fi going all the way back to the days of Robinson Crusoe and The Island of Dr. Moreau and i'm sure there are earlier works then that. There is not much original going on here. Its how the story uses its particular elements and tells its particular story that makes it unique. I always find it funny how the kids these days think its some unique snowflake simply through ignorance of the genre.

| A flick that comes to mind is "Momento"... because of the unique story telling... Not quiet the same as Lost, but there are puzzle pieces to keep track of along the way. |
