Oh.. i loved Watchmen don't get me wrong. It played rough up until the climax and then very much pulled a soft PG-13 ending with the majority of the violence happening off-screen. I had no quibbles with the story or any modifications in that I wasn't tied to the source material... my only quibble was them not showing the true cost of what Ozymandius did visually and using 9/11 as a cop out.

Knowing shreds that excuse permanantly.
