Cloverfield Lost Connection?!

THIS ISNT REALLY A SPOILER BUT IT COULD BE CONSIDERED ONE, NOT REALLY BUT IDK people are weird about it

Ok i just got back from watching Cloverfield, dont listen to what the critics say, its epic.

But anyway at the end of the movie the girl who you only know as "Beth" until that point, looks at the camera and says "My name is Elizabeth MCINTYRE"

I thought to myself, ive heard that before, and thought about it and then i realized

OMG HUGH MCINTYRE HANSO FOUNDATION HOLY ^%$#@!!!

so anyone thats seen the movie think its a possibility there is a connection?

is the monster the monster thats on the island? Is it captured and put there and stations are created to observe it?

IDK!!!! but its an interesting coincidence if its not meant to be a connection.

I read an interview with JJ Abrams before the premiere of the movie, and he said there are a few Lost connections in there. Apparently you can see the Dharma logo in it at least once among other things.

I haven't seen it yet, but it sounds amazing.

Cloverfield's on top of my must watch list. I've been hearing it's a great monster movie.

I saw the trailer and the monster in the movie sounds identical to the smoke monster! To those who have seen the movie: Is this true?

movie is awesome, that's the monster, i'm kinda bummed i didn't see any of the lost connections

i heard there is a noise after the credits or something that sounds like the smoke monster can anyonconfirm that .....i heard a million people talking about something that happens at the end and how you have to wait till all of the credits are over in order to hear it ?
