| I am watching episode 2 of the new NBC show "Chuck" where an average Joe has all of the US secrets downloaded into his head. Early in the episode there is a scene where government agents access some of the secrets in Chucks head. Among a bunch of randomness including info on assassination attempts etc. Chuck says "Oceanic flight 815 was shot down..." it gets hard to hear but also says something about an airport. Anyone else have the show recorded and can make out what else he says? |

| I'm hoping none of you really think this means something... It's clearly a joke. It's on a different network and written by different writers... I'm assuming you're all on this board because you're not that stupid...

I'm assuming you're all on this board because you're not that stupid..." I think it's very plausible. If you go back and watch the first episode, it does look like it might have been shot down. Start of season 3, when the others are having their book club and they run out to see the plane, they feel an explosion and rush out to see a plane that looks to be shot down. Also keep in mind that Lost had problems with writers who were fired. They had a few who leaked plot lines. So why couldn't they also tell other writers, on different networks and shows, who could use it to their advantage? Joke or not, it still made me re-think a couple of things. Hell Yeah! |

| Regardless of whether or not this could be considered canon it was still cool to see something Lost related in this long wait for the next season. I actually wonder if it was sneaked in by a writer who is a fan and maybe NBC wasn't aware of it. |

| ^And Karl really was on the Brady Bunch. :P There's a dailymotion link somewhere on DarkUFO's site. It's cool that they mentioned LOST.

Use it to their advantage? Come on! You couldn't sound more like an idiot! I didn't even see CHUCK, and I would bet my life that it had absolutely NOTHING to do with a rogue ex-LOST writer! You've obviously never heard of a lawsuit, huh? This isn't the first show to directly and/or indirectly poke fun at the direction that LOST is NOT GOING IN. Even if FLIGHT 815 turns out to have been shot down, I promise you that it was totally unrelated to this other stupid show, CHUCK...
