Gene was spot on in positioning Kodak. The ones that should be fired are the Kodak executives who are positioning the company on the basis of "INK". Ink is a commodity and any competitor can follow suit...heck, look at all the after market ink companies. Gene's focus was to bring the emotion back into Kodak and it was too bad that Kodak executives were too arrogant to see it. I couldn't believe Piers said Kodak was the "turnaround" company. Either he was paid for the plug or he's not as astute as Gene (I'm being kind). Kodak stock is at a 5 year low. Analysts say they were too late to adopt to the digital age and is now struggling. Maybe that's why they're on the Apprentice. I'm not an investor of Kodak, but I might be and that would be to short the stock, EK.

Gene played a very strategic game on Apprentice. It's too bad that the "Donald" couldn't pull the trigger on Amorosa.

He is not doing us guys a favor. His treatment of women is really bad. He is not good looking and is very arrogant. No wonder the painted face brought him success. Glad he is gone and probably are all the women. King of women beheaded - just laughing because it reminded me of Austin Powers.

Gene, I missed the show tonight and i was not able to tape it but I hear you were fired and I dont know why. I had you pegged to win! I watch The Family Jewels and I love your children, I think they are WONDERFUL human beings that you and Shannon get credit for raising them with values and morals. Because you are an money making machine and a great business man it was easy for me to pick you as the winner. I will try to catch the episode I missed to see what happened! Best of luck to you and your family, I probably wont watch the Apprentice any more, especially with that piece of manure (Omarosa) still there!

this is to tvwarrior: You have a good point about Gene not treating women with respect, I do agree. But he is basically a good guy who has a reputation to uphold, I think he really is a good family man who loves his children very much and rasied them great. He is arrogant (wouldnt you be if women threw themselves at you?) and one more thing, sorry Gene, but you and Donald were neck and neck for the worlds worst hair, imagine, 2 celebrites with the WORLDS WORST HAIR on the SAME show! Too funny!

Happy, women do throw themselves at me. Why do you think that we all men have to be dogs? I respect myself and will not go to that level to violate me, my morals, my body, my family - for what some phycho crazy plastic boob chick.

Gene is fun as long as he does not speak about women which unfortunately is every second sentence - but I noticed he did not think much of ass showing playboy chick.

I read in a thread that maybe Nely and Gene were MORE than just "CEO and PM"!!!! Maybe he just couldn't throw his Fu#& buddy under the bus!
AND maybe those were real tears for a new "friend!"
AND maybe there is more that is edited out then we realize!!!!!!!

BOTH teams used Gene's approach in episode #4 by calling in their celebrity and high roller friends. Even though he's gone, Gene's NOT forgotten.

Hopefully he returns in a later episode.

I agree, I hope he returns. However with Kiss starting up, I doubt he did.
